NO. WASL was around in this state long before "No Child Left Behind" was introduced.

Really? When was WASL introduced and WHY was it introduced if it wasn't mandated by some "official office"? Most teachers I know have never considered tests a reliable measure of learning. |

Just in case anyone is reading this- the WASL test was instituted as a DIRECT RESULT of No Child Left behind. Thank you for the further info KXLY.
