Hellertown police officer hit by car

Stealing from a church! Hurting a police officer! Hang these low life scum bags. People like this will never get any better.

I hope the officer will be okay. We appreciate all they do to try to keep the borough a safe place to live. It's sad to hear about one of them getting hurt in the line of duty.

Hellertown Police are great! Thank you for making our neighborhoods comfortable and secure places to live. Obviously these criminals don't read the paper or Mcall.com or they would have known to look somewhere else for their victims. And speaking of victims, burglarizing a church! You gotta be kidding. Why not a baby stroller while a Mother is walking her child down the sidewalk? My nine-year old son has a bigger pair than these girly-men. ha-ha-ha ... I certainly hope Mcall gets us the names and photos of these perps so we know when we need to be hiding childrens' bicycles and Tonka trucks!!

Stealing from a church? Just shows us all how far some people are willing to go in these times of a penny pinching economy, and this is just the start! What the heck are they going to be stealing when the economy gets worse.........the statue of Mary, or maybe even the aluminum siding off your house, I hear that's going for a nice price at the scrap yard these days!!!!!

I'm surprised the wanna b officer had time to respond to this incident and wasnt tied up harassing innocent drivers. They continuously conduct unwarranted vehicle stops in the borough.
Drive around with sunglasses on even if its cloudy, then conduct vehicle stops just to look cool as bystanders pass.

Yeah, I will not drive through Hellertown at night ever again. Was stopped twice for DWB (driving while brown), searched and let go. I do hope this cop is ok though, but how did he get dragged? Did he try and grab the driver as he sped off...not too smart

When will the cops learn to leave the "good ole boys" alone?? There just trying to make some extra money.

Aren't there any churches in Pen Argyl these boys could have targeted? It's not too smart to try to rob a church in a residential neighborhood.

I wonder if the dash cam recorded it and will be on Wild Videos or some cop show..Maybe the MC will get the tape...

your an idiot. if there un warranted why dont you take them to court for stopping people without probable cause. My guess is because they have it and your probably the one doing the wrong doing and getting stopped. If your so great go to the academy take the badge and do the job. Other wise shut up.
