Ok, the morons at the state and county have raised their heads again to show how stupid they can be. The local irrigation company drilled a new well, in exchange for not using a couple of old ones that still produced good water. So last week they spent a lot of money taking the well heads off and pumping the holes full of concrete.

So what about the national, state, county and city push for backup supplies, emergency preparedness and cost savings. would it have been better to lock the old wells and in case of an emergency had a backup water supply for a small community that really can't afford millions to establish a new backup system. So if the existing water supply dries up, is polluted or fails we now have no backup. What a bunch of MORONS making laws and rules.
