Something has to be done about the children who are the victims of the Tony Alamo cult

In responce to Lesia's post.
First of all, of course we are worried about the kids, we love them and we know and have heard a lot about what goes on there in the church and at Alamo's house specificaly.
Second, there has been money sent there by my mom and by Anthony, do you think that they are going to come to you and say, "oh, you just got some money in the mail from the kids dad or from their grandma, here you go". LOL, that money went into Tony Alamo's pocket. As far as birthday cards or Christmas cards, why would we send them just so you or someone else can just throw them in the trash before the kids can even see them. None of you want the kids to know we even care about them much less are sending them money or cards.
Third, the best of everything? Did you forget that I lived right next door to you? You shared an apartment in Moffett with Josephine Edwards and lived in a room the size of 8x12 with three kids. The clothes came from donations that were supposed to go to needy families, and the nourising food came from grocery store produce departments rotten food that they gave that was supposed to go to needy families, and the same goes for the health and beauty aides, if it was not donated to Arm Full Of Help then it went on a ask TONY list. Even if we need womens personal items it had to go on the ASK TONY LIST. We could not even go to a grocery store, we had to send our bucks, if we got them, with a purchaser to buy whatever we needed. We were not allowed to even go to a grocery store, come on now, talk about control.
Fourthly, the dentist? Get real, MaryAnn had to call around to all the dentist offices and ask for them to give services to needy families if anyone needed to go to the dentist, and the only way we went to a doctor is if we were sick enough to die.
And last but not least, if I really thought that Lesia was going to read this I would tell her that I love her like a sister, just like I always have, and there is always a place with me and my family should you ever leave that place, and yes that includes your new husband and children.
And I do not think Lesia wrote this because the person that wrote this does not even know how to spell my name right, and guess what I have the pictures to PROVE that you and ANTHONY were married and I have pictures to PROVE there were several underage marraiges, including Tony Alamo's own daughter Becky. NOW WHAT???

Tony Alamo sounds like he is threatening me in program 653. Talks about breaking legs and arms for $5000.00 each.

I don't like copying my own posts but, it's late and I don't have the time to type a new one, and besides this one seemed to really get under Tony's scales and irritate him. So, for those who didn't read it the first time here goes:

I am glad you brought up the point that this has nothing to do with religion. This is not about religion. This is about children who are being sexually abused.

God gave us a great gift when he gave us our constitution. Our country is unique among governments, in that, our freedoms are given to us by "our Creator".

The laws that have been passed regarding legal age of consent, child abuse, indentured servitude, and other such laws, were passed because of offences against innocent people in the past. The laws are there not to deprive anyone of freedom, but to insure the protection of those freedoms. In particular, the most innocent and vulnerable of our society.

Charlatans and snake oil salesmen have tried to hide behind the shield of our Constitution for generations. Sometimes they have succeeded.

People have a right to be as stupid as they want to be. Adults have a right to follow any religion, belief, or doctrine, no matter how far fetched it may be. Their stupidity is protected to an extent. It does not entitle them though,(even if they have a "religious belief" that it is the right thing to do), to subject their children to abuse.

God forbid, that any child's right, to reach a mature age, without being forced to have their innocence ripped away by some old man, would be taken from them. This is a crime that reaches the very depths of depravity. It wars against the natural affection and decency that the Creator instilled in the hearts and souls of man.

The problem is, they are helpless to help themselves! This is why the government MUST step in!

If the Puritans were around today, the would not be allowed to have the public floggings, or dunkings.
You cannot stone someone to death, even if your "religion" says you can. Just as the Constitution protects us from having our freedom of religion infringed upon, it protects the unwilling, and the innocent, from having a religion take away their God given rights.

Ever person in America, including a child, is given the same equal right, to Life, to Liberty, and to Pursue Happiness, according to the dictates of their own heart.

Children are protected by Law. Law breakers need to be brought to justice. Anyone who thinks they are above the law, needs to be taught that they are not.

Tony Alamo needs to be arrested and tried by a jury of his peers. Someone in authority needs to hear the cries of these children for help. One child after another has testified, some under oath, of beatings, of being forced upon sexually, one even testified to being threatened "to be left abandoned in the desert" if she did not have sex with Tony Alamo. What has to happen before there is justice?

I have to tell everyone about this.

I would not have seen myself moving to Fouke and would not have. Then the Lord made large hail fall from the ski in Texarkana witch created work for me in Texarkana. Still I said no I am not gonna go to Texarkana to work but I had my suspicions the Lord wonted mt to go. Then The Lord made Large Hail fall from the ski in Fort Smith. Then I said Praise the Lord he wants me in Arkansas and I will go .

I believe the lord works in mysterious ways, and he opens doors where he wants them open and closes doors where he wants them closed.
