I am a resident of Missouri. A James D.(Jimmy) Vandergriff (resident of Windsor, MO, Veteran and military reservist) raped the then-18-yr-old daughter of my husband's co-worker. James has a different court matter in Henry County, Missouri shortly. www.courts.mo.gov/casenet is free and you can look up most cases on it. Check this guy out! Henry County is in the 27th circuit. The co-worker's daughter was raped almost three years ago and no charges have been filed yet (Prosecutor has until 11-01-2011).

If I were giving out personal information on others, then I would post my info also, but I am not the person doing that. I have not taken up for the person as I do not know the circumstances, but one thing is for sure he has not been found guilty--so a person is innocent until proven guilty in our country. I do not like to see how the internet has given people the chance to destroy a person's life. We have a justice system for that. Posting personal information on someone is just nothing but plain rotten. Too many lives have been ruined by vendictive people that will do that. We do not know if anything this person claims is true or not. However, from the one message that the supposedly victim wrote, she does not appear to be a well educated person. If she were a high school student who applied herself to her studies she should at least be able to write a decent sentence. Most kids just finishing grammar school can do better than this. Now, if this were your relative and someone made comments about them that were not true, I don't believe you would be on here with the remarks you are making.

This isn't the first time Jimmie has been accused and it's sad and it's sad that some young girl was violated and nothing has come of it I'm ashamed to say I even know him that I've ever spent a holiday with him and that he should be in jail and is not its all just sad and pathetic and makes me sick and it makes me sick that his family and mine pretends it don't happen and won't say anything!

This man has had other sexual assault accusations brought on him, and it's slightly condemning, don't you agree, that as soon as someone in his town said something, he packed up and left. I am not saying that it's a good thing that someone put all this up on the internet, which is an embarrassment to his entire family, but maybe it is a good thing that people in that area are being warned.

Yes, I have lead a sheltered life, I was not put in danger of this by my family, so therefore have not experienced it. If you were multiple times it does sound like there was a problem at home.
I do not know anyone that was molested myself, nor do I know personally of a molester. However, I have read a little on it which you apparently have not done. So if you want to protect your children so, be informed, and find out more about it. Maybe a search on the internet of the crime instead of people's names.
No, I am not sick, nor, do I call people names such as you are doing. I still say if you want to throw stones and print a person's names and address then don't throw your stones from the shadows. If you want to put their names and addresses then also put your name and address. Don't hide in the shadows while you do it.
Now, to the person that this article is about. I do not know him nor do you it appears. The person is innocent until proven guilty.
We all must remember a case in the New Engand states just a few years back of some college kids accused of rape when it turned out they were not involved in a rape. It was just a girl hollering rape. The sad part is that if their parents had not had the funds for a good legal defense, they would probably be on a list now for life.
So before you start trying to ruin a few lives, just remember--and I am still putting God in it--The Bible says what you sow you will reap. Wouldn't it be justice if someday it is your own loved one that is put on this list when they should not be? Do you have about one-hundred thousand dollars for a legal defense for that is about what it would cost you with no assurance that you could beat the charge. If you get a court appointed attorney the majority will tell you to just plea guilty and get a lesser charge. With no money to hire another you are at the mercy of the appointed lawyer. I know his niece, and she told me when he tried to get too handsy with her when she was about 11 or 12. Her aunt told her not to tell her parents, because it would start a huge fight. So, he was someone her family trusted, and isn't that what you were saying? It's someone your family trusts? Seriously, in this country, it isn't innocent until proven guilty. It's guilty until proven innocent.

I know this mans family personally and have for almost 20 years. This young girl is NOT the first one he has done this to. So excuse me if 5 years supervised probation is just not enough. He has done this horrible thing to several young girls who just have not had the guts to step forward due to threats on their families made by James. I wish this sorry son of a gun would get life n prison with NO chance for parole. This way no other young girl has to suffer through the sexual abuse.

Those katrina survivors came over w/o a notion of ever signing the guestbook. Think about that, we don't even know where they reside. I'm glad they can't afford the property taxes where I live.
