This summer kids can lose weight, get fit and maybe take home some cash.

The Biggest Loser for Kids Challenge -- modeled after the reality TV show for adults -- is all about reducing obesity among children through education, motivation and exercise.

The challenge is open to children ages 10-17 and is sponsored by the Southwest Tarrant County Sports Association. Participants will work out in a boot camp three days a week at different locations throughout Fort Worth and Arlington.

There will be weekly weigh-ins and lessons on how to eat healthy. Parents will learn how to plan healthy menus and break emotional ties to eating. Read more

I can't get my son to eat anything we eat and all he wants to eat are lunchables. I live with my parents right now and since grandma and grandpa are around... well you can imagine. Well since living there we both have not too much exercising (which is my fault) but have put on a few too many pounds. HELP!!! Tell me when and where, please????

I have two nephews who are brothers and then are both over 200 pounds each. They are both two wonderful boys who love to play and have fun but are limited to so much because of there size. Our family is willing to do what ever it takes to get them in shape and educated on healthy living so that they can live a more fulfilled childhood without limitations.
