I wasn't referring to the story about the ants just the comments about how this is old news and cutting on people misspellings and attempts at humor.
I lived in Louisiana so I am well acquainted with fire ants. Since this story posted on the Monterey Herald website, this could be new news for those who have never seen a fire ant or it's hills.
I appreciate their mis-spellings and attempt at humor,
something you obviously lack, thanks guys and gals, you know who you are and I Appreciate you!Poster

Something similar happens in our universities. The faculty plants these leftist ideas into the heads of the students. When they graduate, the students wander around aimlessly in grad school, until they become TAs and plant the ideas into the heads of more students. And, the economy suffers. But I'm not sure if newborn calves are affected.
Hahahaahaha

Very, very funny...

Yeah, the Feds did such a good job with the killer bee invasion and all the rest of the answers to this kind of problem - why not trust the to have similar results with this?

Another "B" movie plot coming out of the studios of las colinas or hollywood?
This sound like the drunken babbling of an out of work screenplay writer. And after reading the article, I wish it was.
Wasn't the Killer bee situation a botched scientific experiment about insects that got out of control by getting OUT?!? Do scientists NOT learn from their colleagues' cluster F**ks of the past? There has got to be a less aggressive way.
Doesn't really sound like something credible coming from the research of Texas A&M and UT. Now if they said the party school like Texas Tech was considering this, I could see it for a variety of reasons.
I like this in theory, effects only the fire ants. BUT not have the new WMDs start looking around for another food source when their original one goes extinct. What next would they make go extinct? Do these scientists have that in consideration?
When an indigenous and harmless species goes extinct, is that when these researchers are going to say, "OOOoooopsie!," ??? Realizing that the fire ants are already extinct and their genie refuses to get back in the bottle.
They did'nt fabricate these insects, just imported them where they naturally kill the fire ants. I do understand the concern though. The University of FL. cross-bred to make a fly to eat water lillies from choked water ways.It worked, but the drawback is that they engage in sex ALL THE TIME,now there's too many, and they clog car radiators/ruin paint.

Daily Horoscope for November 26

Virgo

The mysterious Moon helps you feel quite generous and passionate today and others will notice and respond in kind. Some of you may be overwhelmed by the uncharacteristic need to indulge like crazy, more like a Taurus enjoying a Bacchanalian reverie. Go ahead and let it flow; this is a great day for you to wallow in the mud with the rest of the zodiac.
