I think there is a reference in the Bible that illustrates all that profess do not abide with what is required. Not all that say and/or refer to the Bible are "christian", and if they were, they would be more convincing in attitude and argument. You would not be offended, but interested in a God that will forgive and accept all who accept him and abide in his commandments. It is a mindset that would require true belief however!

According to Louisiana law my car is a extension of my home not allowed to be searched without a search warrant. Louisiana is under the laws of Napolon Bonaparte even though it may be in the United States it is allowed to keep it's pre Louisiana purchase laws. According to our legal system the warrent must be executed before a officer may search you automobile or home. No officer is allowed to push his way into your home if you refuse them entry. They may lie to you to get a confession or to produce evidence to link you to a crime. So every cop you emcounter is suspect since they don't have to be honest. So if a cop is lying about one thing how can you be sure he isn't lying about everything he testifies to in open court. By the way I just settled the lawsuit aginst that officer and my former employer. So that is proof I was innocent doesn't it innocent people don't pay damages to the damaged party if they are truly innocent.

We have every right to have significant others and to be proud of them as you do. And you can bet I am not going to deny my significant other affection just because some homophobic prude might be offended that we are holding hands or kissing or talking about each other or whatever. How mundane of you to mention "handholding/kissing ", when what you are vying for to be able to do in public...is that, and more. I don't put up pictures of my family at work. And quite honestly, I find overtly sexual jokes stupid and immature. My sex life is nobody's business but mine, and whoever I'm with. You can do whatever you want...as you HAVE been doing. And so will we.

That may be the "Norm" in California, pal. We who are not of the "Left Coast" do NOT appreciate public displays of wanton sexual promiscuity or obnoxious public displays of profanity. I have had many "conversations" in public with people that feel no need to restrain themselves in front of my children. Funny how when you invite them to continue the discussion outside, they always decline, leave or behave themselves.

Well dang....I would have figured that you could reason as to why people do this to the levels that they do. As for myself, I don't have to get used to anything. It's my prerogative to disapprove. Besides, homosexuals will never be able to get away with that kind of raciness due to the mentality of most heterosexual men if you subject them to that. In public.

They don't respond to kindness, or compassion. That has already been tried and proven. And also, love and compassion are only two of the many qualities of a Christian. If it is determined that a Christian, or anyone else who informs you of these things is wrong, or mean, or judgmental...then what ever are they going to do when they end up in the place where they will have put themselves...the place where they are adamant that they will not go, for eternity?

I think it also works the other way, remember the argument Abraham had with God about the salvation of Sodom,...if he could only get, what was it, 10 righteous men, and God would not destroy the city? So it would seem that percentages work in inordinate ways. It is an adventure watching the society evolve! Any thoughts on 2012?

Usually, the police do not need a warrant to search a car. The rules for entering or searching a car are very different from the rules for searching your home. In order to legally search a car, the police need either: * "Probable cause"- this means the police must have a reasonable belief that evidence or contraband will be found in the car. your car is NOT considered private property. it's transportation. 'reasonable belief' that you may be hiding something is all they need to search the car. by stepping out and locking the doors you are providing that belief due to the fact that if you have nothing to hide you wouldn't mind letting them look. it follows simple logic. also, you haven't explained why you were singled out in the middle of rush hour traffic to be harassed.

oh, and here's this bit, too...
US police do not need a search warrant to search a vehicle they stop on the road or in a non-residential area if they have probable cause to believe it contains contraband or evidence of a crime. In that case, police may search the passenger compartment, trunk, and any containers inside the vehicle capable of holding the suspected article. By comparison, under Australian law, police can exhaustively search any vehicle on a public road, and any electronic devices therein (mobile phone, computer), without the responsible persons' permission, for evidence of criminal acts, with or without proof or suspicion of any kind.
Police do not need a search warrant, or even probable cause, to perform a limited search of a suspect's outer clothing for weapons, if police have a reasonable suspicion to justify the intrusion - a Terry 'stop and frisk.'

Personally I think that man was a nothing more then a murdering racist thug. Yes racist he murdered two white people and set precedents fro others of his race to commit crimes against white people and expect not to pay for it. Murder is Murder and when a black person commits a crime on a white person. They should be charged and tried for a hate crime and if convicted executed so it sends a message it will not be tolerated.
