No Time For Clay Pots DONE

"But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour" (2 Tim. 2:20).

Are you destined for greatness in the Kingdom of God?

Ask most believers that question and they'll humbly assure you they're not. "You know we can't all be golden vessels," they'll say. "Like the Bible says, some of us are just called to be little clay pots."

Praise God, the Bible doesn't say any such thing!

Certainly there are going to be some golden vessels in the Kingdom and there are going to be some clay pots, but we are the ones - not God - who determine which kind we will be.

Second Timothy 2:21 tells us that "whoever cleanses himself [from what is ignoble and unclean ]- who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences - will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work" (AMP).

Golden vessel or clay pot, the choice is up to you!

Why then do so many believers choose to do menial work in the Kingdom of God? Why are they content to remain clay pots?

Because they lack one thing every golden vessel must have. They lack dedication. They haven't made a quality decision to separate themselves from contaminating influences. They haven't been willing to turn away from the ways of the world and go on with God past the point of no return.

My friend, God is doing some exciting things on this earth right now. He's working signs and wonders, paving the way for Jesus' return. This is a thrilling time, but it's definitely no time for clay pots! So if you haven't yet made the kind of commitment that will turn you into a golden vessel, admit it.

Then take the time to get before God and study His Word and get your will in line with His. Let the Holy Spirit deal with you until you're willing to leave the ways of the world behind and walk in higher ways - the ways of God.

Do it now. The hour is late. The glory of God is spilling over the earth in one final thrilling wave. It's not trickling out of clay pots. It's being poured through golden vessels - and that's exactly what God is calling you to be.

Hey Jooce, you are wrong about the Crew,,,They are all friends..They protect each other..They are also always there for each other..They do have some trolls there that are very nasty.."The last days witness" is a full fledged TROLL!!!!....I havent posted on there in awhile,But it doesnt mean I wont.I just have to find the time again..i have been busy.,,But I do have Some friends that I know there..The Crew is Not a Religious thread.But it desnt mean they dont believe in God..They do...They chat about everyday life there..and things they all have in common...Ricky is everyones friend...he is very Lovable and IS a Happy Spirit,,,Quit judging people before you even know them please..Its not right.

Sure 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th chance why not, isn't that what Jesus said to forgive 70X7? I have taken an interesting new look at 1Jn.3:9. "Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin, for his seed reamains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." Well, we would be nothing without God I mean c'mon God made us right? He says at Acts 17:29 that we are His offspring right? That makes us His children therefore we are born of God! In verse 10 of 1Jn. chapter 3 it says: "In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother." Well the children of the Devil are his own demons, see?

Well am I the only one to get attacked by that virus Friday.

What happened to me was this. I was on the boy scouts website downloading some pictures of my grand son. That were taken over the last six weeks out there at the Worth Ranch Scout Camp. I busy down loading when all of a sudden I get this pop up asking me if I wanted to allow adobe reader to update. Before I could even do anything it started to download and I couldn’t stop it and as fast as it finished downloading it installed. Then my McAfee caught it and notified me that it had stopped an trogen virus.

I immediately X out of the site I was at and started a complete
virus scan where ie found three other places it had gone. I also found that it had installed a program call P-C Security. When clicked on goes to a web site where they want you to give them your bank info and they will then sell you a scanner to get rid of the virus. Which I wouldn’t recommend anybody to do. So I started to delete the program Which I found had some kind of protection on it and I couldn’t just delete it.

To get this one I had to rebote and come up in the safe mode then go to c:\ and go in and delete it and the folder it was in. I then brought my computer back up and then went into my regeditor and did a search for both the name’s of the virus and the program. I also deleted my Adobe reader and everything that went with it

When I finished there I then did a delete of my cach files and a ScanDisk and defrag. Then a virus scan again. I believe it’s all gone. Even though I keep getting pop ups asking me to allow an update to my adobe reader that I no longer have.

I read in the paper this morning that this attack originated in
North Korea .

Before I forget If this happens to you, DO NOT turn your computer off till you have done a complete virus scan. Because if you do when your machine come back on the virus will multiply and spread everywhere. Do the scan as fast as you can after you have been infected, Its important

James this is what happened to my other computer...I didnt update anything..The security virus scan came on mine by itself and started to scan,,Wanted bank info..credit card numbers..It wont delete Its stuck, and took over the whole wallpaper with a Warning..and also my icons were frozen..They wouldnt work.I couldnt and still cant go to anything on it..It still on the floor within kicking distance...I will keep what you did to yours..for the future..Thanks...The computer i am on now is old..virus protection is too owerful for it..I sat on the phone 3 houes trying to download McAfee...Its not up to speed,they say..It works for me for now..It is a comfort knowing maybe my other computer can be saved..otherwise i lost everything..i am still bummed..life goes on.Peace

That's true, The Crew thread is our home thread, made up of a unique group of people with different pilosophys and views bound by a special quality. I'm one of the original crew people (a name started by BEB), we started with about 8 or so friends and have grown since, it started out as a fun thing, being part of the crew and since then as we go along meeting new people on Topix, and sometimes meet someone we collectivly like, so after a while of getting to know them, we'll put them up for a vote of inclusion into our ring friends, but they have to exhibit a certain quality. Were pretty picky. Then there are several friends of the crew. It started as a fun thing and just started rolling, but we are like a big family.

RFM, its nice that you can study your geneology, however, what you may not realise is that we are all brothers and sisters to each other, yellow, brown, black and white, what diversity God offers us to love. We are all just as close to each other as our own mothers. It is the spirit of Leviathan that separates us into groups using your carnal mind to make you believe that a Chinese or a starving Somalian child is no relation to you. But God in His wisdom does not think like you, have a nice day :>

Hi Ricky,,,I will say..Yes, the crew is picky about who they want there..But they do give people a chance..The ones i have met there are wonderful, except the 'nasty trolls'..For some reason tho, I am not comfortable there..Most likely because most are younger...and still single and loving it..Enjoying themselves.Eating, drinking, and being merry...Nothing wrong with that.But some of us married ones arent allowed to have the same kind of fun.I know hick-up and riverspirit from the thread i am ususally on/

Hi Jooce, I havent been around that much..Dealing with 'things out of my control'on the home front/But I will be fine.I walk on..I have been tending to my gardens tho..The blackraspberries are growing LIKE craZy..Over abundant amount..All in all I have missed being able to be here among friends.

Hi Ricky, How are you dear one??
