This was not a smart elick remark just a just in case you might not have known it remark. You forget Cyndi I am not an enemy but a friend.

I know personally I would like someone att least like you who I respect their opinion to come and tell me or at least delete it and tell me.

I am very new to this realm so bare with me until I know where each person's hot button are so I can avoid them? K? I wish you would email me sometime so I could ask you a few things. catalog@advexp.com

Mine was not either - just a friendly FYI - pointing out how you could fix it - trying to help you learn that’s all - no big deal.

You can ask me anything you like - no need to email. Don’t fear the hot buttons - sometimes they are fun to explore.

By the way - that would be Cindy or Cynthia to be exact - whichever you prefer.

Ok then thanks. Will try and do better next time. When are you going to bring up any new subjects. I see that you go to some really heated controversial subjects elsewhere. Man some of the subjects discussed in other places could literally blow up this town and start an all out war. People can definitely stir up some major junk.

Set out to make a major Difference Today!

You are right, it shows up there but when you click on it, it just blinks and takes you right back to the main page??? Strange. Email is the same though and anytime you have a question or would like to start a discussion you can email me at catalog@advexp.com

I have a few questions for you that I would just love to ask privately if you don't mind.

My questions:

Questions strictly related to Topix....

I do see posts deleted from time to time. Even some of mine and I have seen you say yours were being censored at times? Who does that?

Is there a way that you can edit your own posts if you find a mess up on them?

Is there like a town monitor for each town on topix who monitors deletes abusive or profane posts?

Now on a more one on one basis....

I don't have a issue with answering your questions but I do have an issue with being bashed on a particular issue if my beliefs differs from yours.

I do think we could have some pretty interesting subjects on here that would really capitivate peoples minds and make topix a name brand site for Trinityites to come to because before I came here and even for a little while afterwards, what I saw was a whole lot of trash talking, un-substansiated bashing of people and almost a "Enquirer" or "The Star" type mentaility coming here and that for the most part has stopped.

I am not talking about you of course or some of the other regular people who seem well informed about what they talk about, but all this site was known for in town was not a good thing and that has since changed.

Has me coming here as one post said yesterday destroyed why you came here? Because I have not felt like I made this a religious site and that was not my intent at all but my intent was to interject ideas when I could, stay well informed of community happenings and fix problems that people briought up when they came here and if someone was outright wrongfully bashing someone or some organization and they flat didn't know what they talking about then I would interject what I saw was the actual reality there.

I mean in just the past 8 to 14 months I have got myself involved in every aspect of this community and in the school situations and athletics, little league baseball and football and I mean when it comes to a problem, I go right to the highest source on the totem pole and voice the problems to the person and stay so persistant with them that they can't help but get it done or taken care of. My bulldog mentality.

I don't know why or what clicked in me but I felt so impassioned to make a difference here that I left the church I was pastoring in another town that I was driving to almost everyday and taking care of because I truly felt like the Lord was leading to go to where I lived and make a true difference there. I just felt driven inside that my place was to be working in my own community that I lived in and making a difference there instead of be driving so far and being stretched so thin that I truly could not make a difference anywhere, in either town being spread so thin.
So I have set the driving force in my life to make a difference in the turbo mode and here I am.

Here is what I believe to be true:

Editors can remove News topics but not other topics. Editors can not remove delete or censor any other specific post or topic.

Editors can manipulate News topics - as in go back and edit them or remove them. As we have both seen here - it looks like once comments have been made to a news topic it can not be removed completely. It is odd that we as editors can still read the post but no one else can - except for other editors - maybe. File that away as another oddity to keep in mind.

Anytime you see a News topic posted by “Roboblogger” it means it was automatically added to Trinity’s News section because of certain key words in the article. I have removed them before anyone made comments on them and they disappeared completely.

I have never tried to remove a News topic posted by other editors - so not sure about that one. However, I am sure that other then what we can do to the News topics we have no more rights or privileges than any other forum user - regular post can not be edited - not even to fix mistakes.

I usually use Microsoft Works to write long post - then copy and past to the forum.

Supposedly - the only way to have anything removed is to flag it by using the “report abuse” link above each post - everyone can flag a post. When a post is flagged - someone that works for Topix will eventually look at the flagged post and if it is offensive they will remove it.

I have seen whole threads removed - and sometimes just a few of the post on them removed. What I had never seen until recently was what I am calling censorship.

Some of the links I try to post just disappear instantly - even after several attempts and different user names - others appear to be posted because I can see them when logged into that account but nobody else can.

There is not supposed to be any local person in charge of Topix for Trinity. Topix is based in California and there is a forum for every town in the US.

So, my best guess is that “they” are using some type of filtering software which looks for key words or websites to filter out - and they are doing it on the sly. If somebody local is censoring - that just makes it more scary. I have yet to figure it out.

I did send a request for technical help to Topix - I thought someone might have a reasonable explanation as to why some things are being censored out. It does not look like they are going to respond.

And yes I did say scary - and I mean that in every sense of the word. I have been doing tons of research on various topics for several years now. I have been to Austin, talked to my Representatives and Senators, email and fax them regularly - haha - for all the good it does. I have been in contact with the real hardcore group known as “The Republic of Texas” and done numerous other things that would label me an Emery of the State. So yes, I have been making some noise. If there is such a thing as a “list” I am confident I am on it at this point.

So - if I seem a little harsh or brash at times - don’t take it personal. At times I wish I had never stumbled onto the things I have discovered - but - there it is - so my choice was to cower in the corner afraid of my Government - or not.

No I don't know how to post a picture but can you answer me one more question? What is that picture of, that you have on yours? I have cut and moved it to some of my high dollar photo enhancement Photoshop CS software and when I tried to get clarity out of it pixelated so much so that I could not tell what it was? Why do some people's location show Trinity and others all over the USA. I put Trinity on mine and it still shows places in Mo., WA. etc? Is that just a random draw each time you log on?

The avatar/icon/picture I use is a human with a barcode tattoo. No - I don’t have any tattoos. I cant find the original photo I used online - I have it saved on the hard drive of one of my computers that is in the shop.
Click on this link to see similar images:

http://images.google.com/images...

You might find one you like on this link - if not just type in a new word and see what comes up:

http://images.google.com/images...

When and if you find an image that you like you can save it to your computer by right clicking on it and choose “save picture as”- then follow the steps to download it to your PC. Depending on which operating system you are using - it will normally be saved to the file on your PC named “downloads” or “pictures”

On your Topix profile edit page you should see a place to click on that says something like “upload image”- click on browse to find the image on your PC - that’s the basic steps.

Location - it depends on a couple of things - which internet service provider (ISP) you use. I use Windsteam DSL - each time you get on the internet your ISP routes your connection through the first router available within their system - it is the router location that shows up as the place of origin.

I don’t know how it shows up on Topix through other ISP’s. Some people also use what is called a “proxy server” which makes it harder for a novice to determine your location - as in it is supposed to make you anonymous. I have tested using a proxy on Topix and you can show up as being from any place in the world.

When I first found Topix I too was surprised at the level of stupidity and hatefulness in almost every post. I started posting “other things” for people to think about. I have taken a lot of heat at times for my views - but I am past the point of caring what others think about me. They can call me crazy or whatever all day long - it does not bother me.

Eventually I will post something that catches their interest and that will provoke them to want to know more about a particular subject - get them thinking about something besides trash talking each other. I have found that many people will remain oblivious to the encroaching oppressive system until it affects them personally. I throw out some wide nets and try to catch a few thinkers.

Your post about religion do not bother me - I read them. One thing I have stressed over and over again on this forum is that it is a public forum and everyone is free to post whatever they like - period. We will never all agree about things - but we all have a right to our own point of view - I enjoy a lively debate - I try not to offend others.

I don’t know that I have bashed you - sorry if you felt attacked - I am not known for my tactfulness - but I do try to be reasonably respectful of others.

So I guess you could say we are both here for the same reason - we just have different points of view about how to “fix” the world - haha.

You have never bashed me or for that matter really ever argued with me or debated anything and have have always been informative. I do wonder sometimes though what effect it has had on this forum board because now it has definitely become a more informational local interests board vs. a gossip trashy bashy place.

I do wish that we could both come up with some subjects that could be discussed and even though we may disagree we still could open people's eyes with it.

The bomb threat thing has been discussed to death and I went to Bobby Rice and told him he ought to bring in the ATF and FBI and let them talk to the kids in a no holds barred discussion of the real consequences of their actions and where it could lead in their life and how it could haunt them for the rest of their life.

But as of yet nothing has transpired from it. I think this is mainly because as of yet they have not prosecuted anyone for their actions and they only have sent them to AEP which the kids are only laughing about that.

Anyway hope to make a difference there and I am still persistantly pushing to make this happen.

And so Cywar from your "At this point" forum.....What are you saying from there? Your life and no matter where it has been, you have no one to run to. Mend those burned bridges and no matter who stole your heart and took away the part that is so essential to to the whole. Now you have no one you can trust and no one or nothing can heal, Remember the Tinman and go find your heart and take it back. One day you will find it I pray. You can look to the stars for answers and some think Heaven's here on Earth But Heavens not. If we have faith in humankind. The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. And yes it is and oh so close.....

Is this just something you wanted someone to see or was the subliminal message to it from you? A need? Anyway just ck'in on U!

Thanks for checking Rick - really - it shows you do try to practice what you preach. I am fine and thank you for asking.

I purposely used as little text as possible in that thread - I left it open to wide interpretation on purpose. As you said in today’s message - people see things differently.

Your take on “At this Point” is interesting. I was not trying to bash religion in any way, hope you didn’t see it that way - and feel free to post whatever you like on that thread to counter any negative message you may have picked up on.

I will give you my interpretation later - and - remember my sign off.
