How do you think the Neo-Con,s block so much in the Senate You do realize that Harry Reid refuses to bring any of these bills to the floor so there is no roll call so there can be no vote. Have you even been following American politics? There have been 33 passed repeals from the House and sent to the senate. Since Obamacare is the law of the land, there has to be a vote somewhere in the Senate, that Harry Reid received from the House, not to repeal it. Just show me the vote total in the Senate where an attempt to repeal it failed. Shouldn't be too hard for a smart person like you.

New numbers on Obamacare out today. It was sold by Obama as costing $900 billion over 10 years, early estimates for FY2010-2019 put it at $1.4 trillion, new estimates for FY2011-2020 was $1.7 trillion, new estimates for FY2012-2021 were $2 trillion, and estimates for FY2013-2022 were $2.3 trillion, and FY2014-2023 are $2.6 trillion. That is nearly 3X's the dollar amount sold to the public. Would it have passed had we known the latest estimates? I think not. This president and his administration is terrible. DUMP OBAMA 2012!!!

OH BULL SHIT, how many of those bills is Harry siting on that could even muster 60 roll call votes to get to the floor. And the GOP being the miniority what are the chances of that bill passing without Democrate help if it did make it. Bottom line blameng Reed, is just being F*cking stupid.

Run along now, I'm sure there is a paper sack and a can of spray paint calling your name. Estimates Through Fiscal Year 2022 This report also presents estimates through fiscal year 2022, because the baseline projection period now extends through that additional year. The ACA’s provisions related to insurance coverage are now projected to have a net cost of $1,252 billion over the 2012-2022 period; that amount represents a gross cost to the federal government of $1,762 billion, offset in part by $510 billion in receipts and other budgetary effects (primarily revenues from penalties and other sources). The addition of 2022 to the projection period has the effect of increasing the costs of the coverage provisions of the ACA relative to those projected in March 2011 for the 2012-2021 period because that change adds a year in which the expansion of eligibility for Medicaid and subsidies for health insurance purchased through the exchanges will be in effect. CBO and JCT have not estimated the budgetary effects in 2022 of the other provisions of the ACA; over the 2012-2021 period, those other provisions were previously estimated to reduce budget deficits. http://cbo.gov/publication/43080 “And despite massive tax hikes and new penalties to pay for the bill, which CBO estimates have risen by another $99 billion compared to their estimates last March … the president’s health spending law will add at least $700 billion to the deficit over its first 10 years. Sadly, it may prove much worse than that.” Read more: http://dailycaller.com/2012/03/14/cbo-report-...

If Harry Reid does his job then we wouldn't be talking about this because they all would have been voted on and either passed or failed. Harry Reid doesn't get to decide which way others will vote. His job is to bring the bills that have passed the house and allow them to play out in the senate. He has not done that. It's clear that you have no idea what you are talking about. The Senate is controlled by the democrats and not the republicans so mr. Reid should have nothing to worry about. As I have said before Harry Reid is simply protecting Obama from having to sign or veto any law that would make Obama look bad. At least look at the issue before you go and pop off about it. You appear to be a clear example of the term "uninformed voter".

Of course, if you use the baseline budgeting method the deficit shrinks because the line keeps getting moved in order to give the perception that the problem isn't as bad as it appears in the real world. I figured that since the baseline takes inflation into account, which you have argued isn't happening, that you would not have gone near baseline budgeting. You either believe there is inflation or you don't. You can't have it both ways. You are just doing what all liberals do. Picking and choosing whatever scenario fits your argument reguardless of reality. Have you ever watched a baseball game? There are two baselines on a baseball feild. Down the 1st and 3rd base sides of the feild. Do those move as the game moves into later innings? Of course they don't. Baselines are fixed and don't move. If the budgeting baselines would not move then we would not be in the terrible financial shape we are in today. This idea of baseline budgeting was enacted in 1974 by democrats who didn't like being held back by the reality that there wasn't enough money in the world to fill their spending requirements.
