Mine came back on at 9:15 PM Saturday. I just assumed everyone's was back on at the same time. I was overjoyed. Electricity is something we take for granted until it's gone. That was horrible!

The local Amish folks are probably laughing at everyone scrambling to go on with life without electricity. It was probably no big deal for them.

we have power as of late Sat. night, hope everyone has electric by now! I never did hear where the lines were down? I read it was about 45 transmission poles down but it didn't say where, I know we had a lot of damage out here....one of my biggest trees split in half and got blown over!

Drywood/Garland had power at 7:15 am this morning.

I was going nuts without electricity for 30 hours. I finally went to Nevada just so I could see some light.
This little "hiccup" sure makes me have even more admiration and respect for the people of Joplin who recovered so courageously from the tornado.
Not to mention the people in Louisiana who are recovering from more hurricanes and flooding when they haven't fully recovered from Katrina. I can't even imagine!
