I challenge all of you to do the same. If you are gainfully employed and won't be going because you have a pool in your back yard I encourage you to buy for the less fortunate. I think this is pretty cool. I unfortunately don't work at this time, but will be sending my kids to the pool when I can. I know the prices went up, so won't be able to afford to send them all the time, but I think they will enjoy it whenever they go. I am hopeful that this pool will provide fun for many families for many years to come. God bless you all!!!!!!!!!

I heard it opens on Memorial Day weekend, but I dont kow if the city is going to be able to meet that deadline, I think the parking lot needs to be finnished first? But I want to thank everyone for their efforts to bring this nice facility to us, I know our children will enjoy the new pool and I won't have to drive to Pittsburg or Nevada to take them swimming at the "cool pools".

I think she is a talented, intelligent and gorgeous woman. All the naysayers are plain wrong about her.

Are they gonna have the adult swim time so you can do laps without getting cannonballed?

Why are there mean things about other people on this site all the time? The topic was the pool not his wife. I hope they make the deadline but you never know with big projects like this. Considering our ground seems to be mostly limestome right there my guess is they started out behind. I hope they meet the dead line. Someone told me you can't use your pool pass on opening day that its $3 for adults and $2 for kids and ages 2 and under are still free, is this true? That pool pass costs $150 I think. You would think if they spent that much for 4 people for a pass that they would be able to use it all season even on opening day but it is a new pool so who knows. As far as Toms wife goes, people are who they are. I personally don't know the lady but I'm sure is not as bad as everyone makes her out to be.

i saw the new swimming puddle yesterday. this is the greatest farce that i've ever seen. they were supposed to take out the tennis courts for pool expansion. instead, they turned that part into a parking lot and cut the pool size down to half it's original size. the only part that doubled in size was the little kid's swimming area. now, i wonder how this is going to draw people to fort scott when it wasn't large enough for the locals to begin with. i think that we should all boycott the new pool and make the city commissioners pay for an actual expansion out of their own pockets since they truly lied about the pool size. if you ask me, it's the greatest scam that they have EVER pulled on the people. getting the people to rally and vote for a much larger pool and in the end, it's actually 1/2 it's original size. they should have turned the golf course into a large water park. large land, plenty of parking, etc... but no, they wanted to chase a little white ball around a field that would have been much better suited for a hay field. i am NEVER shopping in fort scott again because i can't stand to see tax dollars wasted so blatantly.

His wife prances around the neighborhood either walking or jogging in the skimpiest of clothes. Please honey. Cover yourself. You no longer have the figure to dress that like. I'd probably like you better if you weren't so conceited and full of yourself.
