If we had more job opportunities in Ozark like Dothan i.e. restaurants, malls and targets stores, people would'nt have to have yards sales to make ends meet. The Mayor needs to solicite to get more jobs available.

I nthink that is a shame. The city is going to ask its people to pay a fee to sell items that they own. i am from ozark and I think that is a cheap, assinine way to tax the people who live in the community. ozark you should be ashamed.

What's up Omar dude? You are right about Ozark and this new possible yard sale fee. They are really trying to find a way to get more money for the city, but this is the wrong place to get it.

The real problem is that you have re-elected a mayor who didn't do anything about industry the first time he was in office. I have yet to figure out what he IS concerned with except being in power. Ozark is a scummy town with nothing but fast food places and the town really needs leadership and a face lift. Reminds me of Daleville. It is owned by ONE man who doesn't want anything to come to town unless he approves it and charges high rates in rent. But HEY, you guys elect these clowns.

And the mayor wonders why the population has gone down. Must be a retired Army Colonel, former Chief of Staff from Fort Rucker then.

I think it is a shame that this town has come to such ruin. I, as others have chosen to live here but must work elsewhere. Our monies are spent in other towns because we have nothing to offer here, and most of our day is spent in other towns where the jobs are. If we get anything it is only a matter of time before it is gone. I am deeply saddened by this, and am seriously thinking of moving. Greedy and power driven indiviuals who care about nothing but themselves have caused our town to go to hell. Every person talks a good game until they get into office then nothing ever changes. Taxes are high, gas prices are through the roof everywhere and the grocery stores we have here are "Super-wont-sav-a-dime " and "Grocery-19percent-tax-Ou tlet"...and I am sorry, but I just dont feel right buying my underwear and red meat in the same place(Wal-Mart). And now a fee to sell my own stuff?? Come on.. say it ain't so!!! You people are a trip!

As Andrew Jackson said "They've made their decision, now let's see them enforce it".
