OMG Marat...I think what you lack is AMERICAN PRIDE. THose who have served or are serving have different opinions from what you say. Im a newbie to this whole soilder spouce thing. I dont agree with the war and would love for everyone to just come home. When guys and gals sign up to protect our country and the jobs that come with it....they cant opt out of the war....they have a job to do no ifs ands or buts about it. Just to let you know Marat my husband is a normal loving guy and does not have a hatred bone in him at all. Since their cultures and beliefes are completely different than ours....our soilders cant take risks because of women and children. When he was over the first time...he was forced to put a gun to a childs head because they can get away with hiding bombs and killing people just as much as the adults.....he still feels bad about it..but thier jobs are to protect...so I can understand those who kill for shits and giggles...but please dont demise those that take their jobs serious. Taking a role that could end up taking thier lives is a pretty courageous task to me....please think before you type.....not everyone over there are cold heartless individuals....I know mine isnt.

Marat - I am an Army wife and before I was an Army wife I supported my friends in the service. I knew someone who was injured in the pentagon on 9/11. Was that ok for us to have so many US citizens killed just because they have a differnt belief system? My husband was hit on last deployment after only 5 days. His job was route clearance to make roads safe for our soldiers and the true citizens of Iraq. How was he killing innocent people? How much do you pay for gas? Do you want it to keep going higher? Would you like to see 9/11 happen again? We all forget the UK still has a QUEEN. We have a say, we have a president. Maybe Marat should either join the iraqi's if he supports them so much. Why not bash your own military who is supporting the fight in Iraq. Normally people like Marat aren't worth wasting my time on but since this is July 4th I figured I would say something. Marat you will never know true freedon because you are so closed minded.

Maybe you'd like to remind us exactly what invading and occupying Iraq had to do with 9/11? If you know a secret something that the rest of the world has not heard about, feel free to impart this knowledge. Or, at least, give us a clue! Otherwise, folks will only presume you to be as pig-ignorant as the evil grunt you married.

Marat, What does your name mean? I suspect it's a synonym for Moron. Talk about pig-ignorant. Obviously you can't read or understand what you see on TV or you could make the connection between 9/11 and Iraq. I suspect when someone asks you your name you look as confused as a "Monkey reading a digital clock." Don't waste our time with comments that prove your IQ to be less than your shoe size. You wouldn't make a "pimple on a real man's butt". WOW, I think I just stooped to your level! But then, sometimes it's worth it! First off I would like to say thank you to Roger for his service. Second I would like to say to Marat, war is ugly not all of us will agree with it, I sure didn't understand any of it at first. As you can see from my SN I call myself a Ret army wife, my husband spent many yrs in the army, his first was being in VN and his last was DS, so that kinda tells you how many yrs we spent. When the Iraq war first started, I myself thought Yea! they are going after Osama, then I hear he is in a different country and we really didnt hear alot more about it. So I was somewhat like you, I was against us being in Iraq, but then I got to thinking more about it and thought hey if we hadnt gotten in the middle of WWII and even Viet nam, where we freed so many from unthinkable acts what good are we? If I lived in one of those countries I would kiss the feet of any soldier that was there to protect and free me. I would only hope that if ever we had war on the US soil that other countries would come here to help us.I am proud to be an American and thank the good lord I was born in this country. We are the most generous and compassionate ppl on earth. Isnt this what life is all about? Helping those in need?

Hi ret army wife, I am beginning to believe that all those having anything to do with the army are the whackiest (along with Michael Jackson) people on the planet. Roger in Tikrit thinks that Iraq had something to do with 9/11 despite the president being forced to admit that he lied. You think that, despite invading Iraq on the dubious pretext that they had WMDs and nuclear bomb programs, the poor, murdered, displaced folk whose country was destroyed actually wanted the U.S. to "protect and free" them. Jeez! Agent Orange and Napalm sure helped out those Vietnamese. Ungrateful swine, weren't they? America, and its evil army, stinks out the planet and is universally despised by decent people. Off you go to Guantanamo and explain to all those being detained without charge that they are being punished for their own good and God is on the side of their torturers.

I'd really like to know why Marat you have such negative things to say about one of our Soldiers here in the States? You have no right to say anything about that person. You have no idea what it's like to actually have been there. I have been there and it's not a party at all. They go around killing their own people along with ours. When I was there my job was to help those in need and we were helping to rebuild stuff that their own people blew up. How is it than when we are trying to help they try to shoot us and blow us up with IED's? So please go take your negative comments somewhere else and don't bash the U.S. Army. I take pride in my job and I am proud of those who serve along side me.

Marat, why are you so bitter? Whats really going on? I will tell you, I lost a brother in VN also my husband is being closly watched for agent orange not to mention the jungle rot he suffers with. He wasn't drafted this was his choice, so he never complains. My Nephew who is in Iraq tells a much different story than you tell. See the media only tells us the bad and never the good. Marat why not talk to a soldier instead of bashing him.. The beauty of all this, is we can express whats on our mind without worry, humm, freedom comes to mind.

Marat has no idea what it takes to be intelligent since all he know's is hate, that is all he know's so he doesn't know what good feels like. Need to know both sides of the story to get the facts straight. Spread love not hate.

Marat, I would like you to consider one thing: Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. Though many Americans have differing views on the war and how it came about....our President and Government has us in it. We can't change that! I was a soldiers wife through three tours. I never watch the news.....because frankly...they only report what gives them ratings.....it's a business..remember! My husband always said it didn't matter how we got there...just that we can't abandon the citizen's of Iraq again...like be did in the past. They want us there..to help them get on their feet. Our soldiers volunteer to serve their county.....most do so to earn money for an education.....others because they need direction....and some still because they LOVE their country! But either way, they are not evil, they are just doing what is ordered of them. If I had to guess why that soldier took his life...it would be because of people like you. GOD will judge all of us one day. My guess is that soldier is in front of GOD right now...and he is getting the love he so desperately needed.

Marat wrote: <quoted text> Maybe so but, at least, I can console myself that I have never put on a disgraced uniform and murdered people who never caused me any harm. The problems come around when it hits these sicko grunts that what they are doing is evil and unjustified. Some are not entirely without remorse and self-loathing. For a few, it is hard to face themselves in a mirror and see a vile piece of filth staring back. You know if they did no harm to you then what the hell happened on 9/11?? What your saying is that you would rather care more about yourself than the families that suffer from loosing their loved ones to fight for your freedom. People like you should open your eyes and see whats really going on instead of accusing people to be innocent. I have been blown up and I think we are there for a reason so suck it up and dont judge us for what we do just because your scared to do it.
