We purchased several pieces of furniture from them. The leather reclining sofa has problems with the leather surface peeling off. Now it has been months and they still give us the runaround about repair. First the part hasn't come in yet. Then it was the part is ordered from overseas. Then it was the company went out of business and the part has to be ordered from overseas again. Still no honest answer. I don’t think they will really do anything now. I would not trust them or purchase from them again.

Just bought a dining room set with 6 chairs and a recliner sofa and reclining love seat for the price of just the sofa and love seat somewhere else. Very helpful and extremely friendly and wanting to deal. Can't beat the prices.

We bought a house full of furniture here, spent about $20k We did have some problems, however when we went back they were more than accommodating. They allowed us to keep the items until our new stuff came in. We are currently waiting on the correct side sectional that we ordered, it's been about 9 weeks, but in the end they are trying to make it all work out for us. City Furniture sold us our Patio furniture, we spent $7k and they treated us terribly, and refused to give us any sort of discount, said to cancel if we weren't happy with their service... At least Fabulous is willing to try and fix the problems.

People stay away from Fabulous Furniture and Barry, the guy Is a joke, they always say "And Were Nice ???? Lol Hey Barry every furniture company in town treats their customs with respect. The way you and your sales staff treat people are more like used cars salesmen !!! Everytime I drive by your place i'm looking for the Used Cars and the balloon's, and stop with the homeless people waving sale signs in front of your place. Real Class. People Stay Away and drive this guy out of our town!!!! There are no deals at Fabulous Furniture just used car saleman and junk!!!! Bb

Was looking at a $5000 leather sectional and the salesman asked what he could do to get me to purchase the furniture today. I told him he could do nothing because I don't ever buy on impulse. The owner came over to me and said I could have the sectional for $2988, I still refused. At home I looked the Ashley brand up on the internet and found that only the seat surface is leather the rest of the sectional is Plastic. And now I read that the leather is junk and peals. Stay Clear!

By far the best experience I've had since I've been down here. Used car sales..... Maybe, but definitely the only place willing to negotiate and make exceptions no other furniture store will. They let me take things right off their floor, but also let me pick from about a thousand fabrics to special order my sofa. This was one of the easiest furniture shopping experiences me and my wife have ever had thanks to their Fabulous team.

I bought alot of things from them, and they have always been so nice to me and my family. I have not had any problems, they even exchange a table I thought I would like, but didn't. They let me pick out something completely different! They are great. An you people always write bad things about people but never step up and say something when things go great. Maybe it's your additudes! They are great, I will continue to go back! I will never shop any where else for Furniture! Thanks again!!

I dealt with these clowns over 15yrs ago in West Palm Beach. They had a furniture depot off Okeechobe Blvd. WPB. They are a bunch of crooks. I purchased a dining set cash, without my husband. I had to leave it there because I lived in Clewiston and had to get my husband to drive the truck and get it. So when I got home; I ask my husband about the purchase. He said no and we dont have the rm in this apt. for it and the bar. Waste of money. So I went back to get the money and they had a problem giving it to me that day. I went home and got my 6‘4 husband and brought him back. They then gave me ALL my money. Nothing posted about no refunds or exchanges. Not even on my reciepts and I never took the merchandise. Almost $500 they tried to take.

Under the principle of "caveat emptor" (the buyer beware), the buyer could not recover from the seller for defects on the property that rendered the property unfit for ordinary purposes. The only exception was if the seller actively concealed latent defects or otherwise made material misrepresentations amounting to fraud.
Before statutory law, the buyer had no warranty ensuring the quality of goods. In many jurisdictions the law requires that goods must be of "merchantable quality". However, this implied warranty can be difficult to enforce and may not apply to all products. Hence, buyers are still advised to be cautious
The modern trend in the US, however, is one of the Implied Warranty of Fitness that applies only to the sale of new residential housing by a builder-seller and the caveat emptor rule applies to all other sale situations (i.e. homeowner to buyer). Many other jurisdictions have provisions similar to this.
In addition to the quality of the merchandise, this phrase also applies to the return policy. In most jurisdictions, there is no legal requirement for the vendor to provide a refund or exchange. In many cases, the vendor will not provide a refund but will provide a credit. In the cases of software, movies and other copyrighted material, many vendors will only do a direct exchange for another copy of exactly the same title. Most stores require proof of purchase and impose time limits on exchanges or refunds. However, some larger chain stores will do exchanges or refunds at any time, with or without proof of purchase, although they usually require a form of picture ID and place quantity or dollar limitations on such returns.
Laidlaw v. Organ, a decision written in 1817 by Chief Justice John Marshall, is believed by scholars to have been the first U.S. Supreme Court case which laid down the rule of caveat emptor in U.S. law.

Thanks for making your experiences/comments public. I almost made a purchase, but did a quick check online to see if there had been any complaints posted about this company. After reading these postings, I decided I would be better off buying from a natonally recognized chain, both for warranty and service advantages. I'm a small business owner myself, but I do recognize there are advantages to name recognition when it comes to large dollar purchases, in addition to more accountability when there is complaints.

I bought a house in Fort Myers and Live in Maine. I went to Robem and stick em and was treated like I didn't belong in the store... Probably because of my age? I went here and the owner was nice I purchased numerous products to furnish the house! My mom stays in my house when she visits the area and always goes there to purchase extra furniture for the house (it's a vacation house) and have had great luck along with exceptional delivery!! I would highly recommend!!
