Tragic accident but hardly a crime worth so much time in jail. You floridians need to work on your drug problem. Its rampant down there. Crack dealing in FT Laudedale is like an open air supermarket.

Where are his fans and supporters going to say now? Obviously it was cut and dry that a jury found im guilty so fast.

"Braswell and Nannariello were headed south on U.S. 441 to The Home Depot off Hypoluxo Road, where they met every Monday night to look at each other's cars."

and the sun sentinel STILL continues to report there is a home depot off Hypoluxo Rd. Its a sad day in investigative journalism when they still cant figure out one simply doesnt exist.

Sounds like speeding and reckless driving, not homicide

Guess thejury wants to hang someone.

Too bad for the loss of his friend, and now him too.

I was a teenager once, and I am sure the passenger was telling the driver to floor it, let's see how fast we can go.

Now if it killed someone else, either a pedestrian or someone in another car that would be a different story

And you would know that how? Exactly what is life worth to you? Accidents when they claim a life have a penalty. The defendent has a record for reckless driving. Driving is a privelege in which a thought process is required. And crackheads can't really afford a motor vehicle. Maybe you've been spending too much time with the open air crack dealers when you're visiting Ft.Lauderdale.

when someone is so grossly negligent that they operate a motor vehicle with the wanton and willful disregard for life and property, its CRIMINAL. When someone's CRIMINAL action results in a motor vehicle crash, and someone dies, it becomes a VEHICULAR HOMICIDE.

Joshua wasnt taking a Sunday drive down A1A at the posted limit then all of a sudden his car mysteriously crashed. He was operating a motor vehicle in a criminal manner, which directly resulted in the death of person.

If it was up to me, he would get one year in State Prison for every year of life the person he killed had lived.

Sounds to me like you don't think there should be consequences for recklessness and total disregard for human life. Joseph Naniriello was not the only one who lost his life that night. The ripple effect spreads far and wide among his family and friends. I'm glad you can spell the word A-S-S-H-O-L-E because you certainly are one. I wonder how you'd feel if it were your sister or brother. I know you've got to be too young to have children! Idiot!

I read this article and comments.
I knew the kid that died and if you would have seen the way he would drive you would be scared for the saftey I used to go and hang out there at those "car shows" when I saw the picture of the person that is accused of this tragic accident I thought he was the one that died. The kid that died was a nice kid but he was a idiot i was there when he got tickted for reckless driving in a parking lot. the kid that died would always push the accused to go faster. they were best friends they would both go fast

You seem to forget that the driver is in control. The passenger is just that a passenger...passive. The driver is completely responsible for his actions and should be held accountable. He was solely responsible for how he operated his car. We'll never know the conversation that took place in the car that night, if one did because the passenger is not here any longer to tell us. I'm glad I don't drive with you!

Thank you so much for saying that. i knew them too i agree with you. i feel bad for the family and all but they were best friends for cring out loud i am know if josh was able to take back the past, he would. He doesnt deserve 15 years at all. it was an accident. it was the truck drivers fault. He was a driver for 25 years, shouldnt he know by now how to fucking drive right? Josh is a wonderful person, he is NO HARM to ANYONE. and now he has to get sent away for a long time for a accident?! I wouldnt doubt in my mind that joe was pushing josh to drive faster. Um joe loved cars with speed he was going to put turbo in his honda peice of shit too. so why dont we look at his driving history. How many accidents did he get himself into? huh? 3 right?! total 3 cars. and who has no lisense.. JOE why becuase he had many issues with law enforcement with cars!! i rest my case. I hope the best for josh i know he's learned his lesson. He's sorry, for what happend. My issue is why is the truck driver getting sued for 1 million dollars with no jail time??!

another know it all little brat. One day when youll grow up, youll realize that when youre driving reckless, doing almost twice the posted speed limit will cause a very bad crash.

Accidents happen when no one is doing anything wrong. This wasnt an accident. This was a motor vehicle crash. There was a reason for it, it was the person behind the wheel, and he is going to prison for his reckless act.
