Here's a hint. A history book gives you someone's version of what happened; fiction. A law book tells you what MUST happen; fact.

When they occupy land that they don't own (not Seminole land, get it?), but have been granted USE of by the state, they ARE subject to the state laws affecting that land.

We as americans have been living on indian land without paying any rent for hundreds of years.We relocated them (at gunpoint) and killed them when they protested.Now we must pay! Who pays tens of thousands for a glorified storage shed? The same people who think that the prime real estate under them will never be sold? The american dream is to OWN the land...not just what sits on top of it.

The American dream is the Anglo saxon dream, based on John Locke's ideas about property, which were used to disposes and forcibly remove Indians from their ancestral homelands. How can you own something that was never yours to take, nor anybody's to give away?

Say what you want about casinos, personally I dont care for them. But the idea that anglo saxon values are self evidently laws which govern all human conduct, is at the root of an ideology that has been used to oppress and murder millions worldwide.
