Who do you think? Who are the richest people here? Look it up...Do you really think an idealist from the people will ever make it to president to make some real changes? The term "By the people for the people" is just so lame. It was never for the people. The people in power won't allow the people to get even close to what they are economically never. Did you know that you don't own the ground bellow your property? Rich companies already own that too, in case oil is evr found there. They can drill in another site then come underground and take the oil.

WAS OUT OF FLORIDA FOR TWO YEARS WHERE I WAS A CONDO OWNER FOR ADULTS
NOW ON MY RETURN TO TAMARAC MY SHOCK TO SEE THAT THERE ARE ONLY TWO WHITE OWNERS HERE SO MYSELF AND A 98 YEAR OLD LADY LIVE IN AN ALL BLACK CONDO.
MOST ARE UNDER 45 YEARS AND HAVE LARGE FAMILIES LIVING IN A TWO BEDROOM CONDO FOR IT SEEMS GRANDMA OWNS THE CONDO BUT WAS PLACED IN A NURSING HOME
THE FAMILY MOVED IN AND THERE WERE 7 YOUNG PEOPLE LIVING THERE FOR TWO YEARS
CHECKING THE STATUS OF CONDO RESIDENTS THERE WERE MOSTLY AFROS AND HISPANICS PLUS SEVERAL HAITIANS
THE SELLING PRICE IS 50% LESS THAN WHAT I PAID FOR AND THE CURRENT OWNERS ARE LOW INCOME AND MANY DO NOT PAY MAINTENANCE WHICH MEANS THAT WE CANNOT AFFORD TO HAVE GOOD SERVICES.
THE CLUBHOUSE LOOKS LIKE A JAILHOUSE WITH BARS AND BOARDED UP WINDOWS.
THE INTERIOR IS LOADED WITH GARBAGE AND FEW PEOPLE CAN STAND THE FOUL ODOR
CHICKEN BONES (I THINK THEY ARE) ARE ALL OVER OUR LAWNS.
KIDS CROWD THE SWIMMING POOL AND LEAVE THE AREA LOOKING LIKE A SLUM
ALL BOARD MEMBERS ARE AFRO
WERE WE INVADED OVERNIGHT BY SO CALLED MINORITIES?
WILL IT EVER BE THE WAY IT WAS?
SECURITY IS POOR AND THE POLICE ARE HERE SEVERAL TIMES A DAY FOR HOME INVASION
MY FIRST THOUGHTS WERE THAT WE WERE INVADED AND THIS CONDO WAS OVER TAKEN BY AFRICANS
JUST LIKE RIP VAN WINKLE
ONLY IT WAS NOT TWENTY YEARS BUT TWO FOR A CONDO TO HAVE AN ALL AFRICAN COMMUNITY

I'm confused....how did a discussion about a mezzuzah on a doorpost turn into a 16 stanza vent about "AFROS"? Sheesh.
If your place is so "infested" by "minorities", why don't you move out and stop complaining?!
Or wait, maybe YOU are no better than those chicken eating, bone-throwing, mess- leaving, "minorities" as you call them... Laughing over here because you LIVE there but you exclude yourself when discussing the "residents".
If you're so much better- Go clean up the messes and throw away the chicken bones that you step on when you're walking out.

sadly, those with 'nothing to do' and lack purpose in any direction, will do/say wrong things just to draw attention to themselves. If only we could educate people. (akin to the quote about there are none so blind as those who refuse to see.)

The writer, however, has a point about conditions of some condos. yes, many condos in this area are "going downhill" -- the original buyers are passing away, their estate will sell to anyone who can come up with a deposit.(law prevents prospective buyers from being asked if they can afford to pay mortgage AND maintenance!). And many of those 16 "points" are noticable in my complex... Oh, add condoms and funny cigarette butts to the mix! I, too, am living in a Broward Condo... and I CANNOT AFFORD TO SELL AS WHEREVER I WOULD BUY, THE INCREASED TAXES, MAINTENANCE, ETC., exceeds my budget! What is SOOO tragic is that this property - a golf course community - used to be Elite!!! I don't know percentages, but there are a heckuva lot of darkskinned people here, and I am a Caucasian "minority" if we go with the numbers!!!!
