Nobody gets "addicted" to fast cars, slow cars, pretty cars, ugly cars, or any cars. Next his attorney will broach the subject of Honda purposely addicting youth and being at fault.

the truck driver sees the cars lights and judges the distance to the posted speed limits, going the speed limit the car never would have closed the gap so quickly, speed kills, this guy claims to be addicted, hes only been driveing for 3 years at most, i started raceing in 1967 and still do today, but you won't find me doing 90 miles an hour on the streets, treat this guy like the reckless person that he is

The stench from the bs is killing me on this one. The kid screwed up and someone died from it. There is nothing to take to court. Jail for vehicular homicide and probation after that. What is there to argue in a court?

The truck had no business doing a U-turn? The kid had no business in a "car show" on a public street! Hope the trucker is suing him back!

He was involved in car accident, it was an accident. He wasn't the only car driving through the street, when the truck decided to make a u turn. When a semi truck makes a u turn, it turns very slow. Why he didn't wait until the road was clear. Come on was at night and traffic was very slow.
I think the kid needs a second chance, how the procecutor said he got addicted to car. Did he never had a hobby? so he got addicted to it? probably you are addicted to accessories.
He wasn't drinking and doing drugs.

Who said it was not an accident? Is anyone claiming he did it on purpose? Of course not. So what's your point?

The State will attempt to prove the defendant was driving in a reckless manner. When this reckless driving results in the death or bodily injury of another, there are criminal consepuences. You got a problem with that?

I have a lot of hobbies; none of them include driving like an idiot, If you want to do so, go to a speed track where the only person you endanger is your own fool self.

Can't wait for the next "rage" defense. Braswell's attorney will probably allege "asphault rage"..........Braswell hates asphault so much that he tries to wear it out as soon as possible.

Firstly who the hell races a Honda?
Secondly, I believe "addicted" is a strong word. I'd say maybe infatuated with the "thrill" one might experience such as on a roller coaster, the exhileration of traveling at a fast rate of speed. Now that's possible. When I was younger I had several 'muscle cars" and fast was the objective. I never raced per say and never injured anyone, but driving fast, very fast was a kick. Seeing this is an activity that seems to be gaining popularity maybe a track could be built to accomodate those who indulge in this passion. Or just hope gas prices will put a brake on street racing.

Daily Horoscope for November 7

Aries

It's a fortunate day for the Ram, but some of you may feel pulled apart by the pressures of home, family and career. It's time to take it easy, if family togetherness has worn you out. On the other hand, the romantic and financial energies are strong, so single Rams who are on the prowl should do very nicely thankyou.
