Now we have two names for the "needs to go list" next election: Steve Geller and Jeremy Ring.

Jeremy should be able to donate from his personal wealth if he thinks lives will be lost without the six million dollar heart attack/stroke mannequins.

Gain 50 lbs. and them loose 2 lbs. and see how many people say how good you look. Florida Government is screwing the public again. Jesus Crist cut the darn taxes now. What has wrecked Florida is Florida. Florida used to be a great place to live, now it is know for high taxes and homeowners insurance.

Choppin' Charlie showed excellent discretion in cutting mostly extravagences. Now it's up to the cities and counties to do the same rather than cutting essentials first as they threatened to do. This can easily be done, since they have so much of my money and yours.

Go Chainsaw Charlie! Don't stop now. The state has no business paying for all this crap. Let private industry, wealthy donors, alumni and local community leaders figure out how to pay for all these extras. Bottom line, if only a tiny percentage of Floridians can enjoy it than it has no business being paid for by the state. Cut! Cut! Cut! and after you're done cutting. Cut somemore!

About The Federation Of Manufactured Home Owners Of Florida, Inc.- Formed
in 1962, the FMO is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the
rights and improving the lifestyles of manufactured home owners in
Florida.

Here's a way to fortify manufactured homes. Scrap all the aluminum and build CBS structures! Mobile homes should be done away with in HURRICANE alley.

Well said. What some people do not understand is that these projects that benefit some come out of the pockets of many. Please keep the government away from my hard earned dough.

Note to Robert Perkins..........Fortifying mobile homes built to the old code is a waste of money as anything short or rebuilding them will not do the job. Thank God Crist was able to see this.

Article quotes "this hardens Crist's image as a fiscal tightwad"..lol. Our governor is a moderate if I ever saw one. Trimming a little more than 1/2% off of a $71,000,000,000.00 budget. See all those zeros? Please, the least he could have trimmed was 1%. Praising he surpassed Jeb Bush's record veto, this budget was also larger than anything Bush ever saw. How many billions does the budget have to increase every year? I can't believe this is a RED state, it's got more pork in it's budget than Scrubbys BBQ.
