MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO LAUREN'S FAMILY. IT'S VERY SAD, ESPECIALLY AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE.

TO THE NEWSPAPER - WAS THE DRIVER THAT FLED THE SCENE ARRESTED OR CHARGED WITH ANYTHING? LETS TRY TO GET COMPLETE STORIES BEFORE SETTING THEM IN TYPE.

Unfortunately alcohol most likely played a part in this accident. My condolence to the Wright family, very sorry for your lose.

Another example of the worst journalism in America, the Sun-Sentinel.
If the driver fled the scene, according to police, how in the world can the named suspect (Donald Sulecki) be identified as the driver? Just because the tag of the vehicle is registered to Sulecki (Im assuming it's registered to him) does not necessarily mean that he was the driver of the vehicle. Did a witness know Sulecki? Did Sulecki tell a witness his name or give them identification to identify himself as Sulecki? I don't get it.
Simply put, there is a lack of information in this Sun-Sentinel article, leaving me the reader with more questions than answers.

Everyone wants to go fast. You can never go fast enough, there is always someone creeping up behind you wanting you to speed up. So that is why things like this happen. Drivers in South Florida are always in a hurry. Speed is the problem and it is what usually causes accidents like this.

Providing the tag number to the police is a good thing that has come out of this horrific accident. This hit and run criminal must be given the maximum punishment for his horrendous crime.

Death penalty for people like this- set an example. I'm so sick of people like this! Accidents happen, but how do you leave someone to die? Society has no use for these types.

Another example of the biggest moron on this planet!
The police traced the tag and found the owner/driver and even confirmed that he was not wearing a seatbelt.

Bet ya a dollar-to-a-doughnut the driver of the pick-up was under the influence of something, whether drugs or alcohol. Or both. If the police did indeed find the alleged driver, I hope they took a blood sample from this scum-bag to back-trace his hepatic profile to the time of the accident, in-order to prosecute him to the fullest-extent of the law. It will never replace this young woman's life, but it will give solace and comfort to her family. My condolances.

WTF is with the pickup truck drivers ? Majority of 'em F250 drivers tailgate the hell out of you even if you are at a decent speed. The guys that drive the big pickup trucks must be really insecure of themself. Lock these MF up.....One less F250 on the road..

I drive 595 east every morning before 6 am. Pick up truck drivers are horrible, but not as bad as Davie cop cars. It is rare to see a FHP anywhere on my commute.

Alcohol is the Devil's doing, and it is most certainly the culprit in this case!

How do you run into that back of a vehicle unless stoned, drunk, or just plain agressive driver stupid, A young life snuffed out, for what reason? Throw the key away on this clown,no appeals, no court games, just show him the cell block, his next home for next 20 years.,

You are a @ss. Did you ever think that the pickup owners need to have a truck in order to earn a living. I don't think that the older man that blew by me at well over 100mph on Copans Road eastbound towards Lighthouse Point in his Lamborghini needs that "auto vehicle" to earn a living. By the way, condolences to the family an friends of the 22-year-old Plantation woman. May she rest in peace.
