I'm having alot of trouble understanding this situation. Just last week you reported how the airlines are slowing down their jets to save MILLIONS OF GALLONS OF FUEL. So what happened ? Now they say they they need more money b/c of fuel costs rising. I believe people can the american people wouldn't have problem if there flight was 5- 10 minutes longer if it helps kept our tickets costs down

well im not flying anywhere soon, but here is the solution to lower gas prices,
1.not allow oil company to merge, first bill bush sign in office was to allow them and there was 23 co,now there 5 and shut down all the refinieries,
2.do away with the enron ecemption, last bill bush sign in july 05 with the republican control, allowing all hedge funds and oil companies to run the cost of oil up and up
3 make a law all oil feilds in the usa cannot exported, must stay in the usa, the oil and make it a 1st degree felony and the forfeit of oil rigs..peroid and they say that the us and alaska only produces 30% of america needs so that should not be a problem..but I know there all liars..lmao

Cheap tickets have gone the way of yesterdays bagels. People will have to pay the real cost of flying. Lets see, fill up the suv? Steak dinner? Fly r/t to the west coast? Not anymore.

The airlines can keep there tickets and there retarded charges. I haven't and wont fly anymore. People who don't understand supply and demand just keep adding to the problem. Bottom line is...no one flying equals lower prices. No one buying gasoline equals lower prices. As long as people keep consuming these overpriced, gouging prices, why wouldn't the companies keep raising the price. God, america needs and economic lesson. Its supply and demand. Stop demanding it, and the price will drop! Period.

Cheap airline tickets have been sponsored by the employee's paycuts. Why do you think airfares should always be $200 coast to coast? Why do you think you can rent a 63 million dollar jet for the day for $200???!!Pay at least $700 to $1,800 per ticket or stay home.

I think all jobs in the airline industry should be outsourced. Vendors do a better job and then with low labor cost(what is should be anyway) then the fuel cost won't matter. I think pilots are over paid bus drivers and flight attendents are nothing but lazy waitresses. And any child can help someone with a ticket and any knuckle dragging ape can load a bag. I am a scab and proud of it. Unions are weak and I am strong and so are my fellow scabs. The only people who should make money are CEO's and Oil companies because they are smart and the rest are not
