QUOTE: "We pray that the violence with the officers in this community be stopped," said Quincy Jackson, a bishop at Shekinah Mountain Bible Fellowship in Plantation, who was in the crowd."
*Get the facts straight before you comment Mr. Jackson...

Good job Police!!! It should be open season on these dirtbags that think they can get away with this crap. Time to take back Broward County and South Florida from the third world rejects. Play with fire and you get burned! Let's just hope the cops keep hitting the targets.

Mr. Jackson,... man of the cloth,.... allegedly a man of wisdom. Just can't help yourself can you? It's always jump on the policemen for doing their jobs BEFORE any facts are revealed about the incident. And you wonder why you get sterotyped.

SEEMS IF BLACK MALES STOP COMITTING CRIME AND QUIT SHOOTING AND RESISTING THE POLICE,WE WOULD NOT BE READING ABOUT THESE INCIDENTS. AS FAR AS MR. JACKSONS COMMENT, HE NEEDS TO REACH OUT TO HIS COMMUNITY TO QUIT COMITTING THESE VIOLENT CRIMES!

By the opening two paragraphs in the story, Ms. Santana seems to indict the police officers, burying later in the story the fact the SUV was reported stolen in Coconut Creek and an eyewitness account that the driver of the vehicle may have tried to run over one or more of the officers. The opening paragraph always sets the tone for the story and in this case, Ms. Santana highlights that this is "the fourth time the city's officers have been involved in fatal shootings this year." SO WHAT? Is it possible that there has been more crime this year? The second paragraph is even more egregious and a total breach of journalistic standards. Not until the 8th and 9th paragraphs does Ms. Santana even mention the police department's account of the story. She should have at least alluded to the conflicting accounts in the opening paragraph. It may be only a journalistic mistake on the part of Ms. Santana, but it's inexcuseable for the Sun-Sentinel EDITOR responsible for letting that story through to publication and Internet exposure. For anyone who doesn't want to believe that the Sun-Sentinel (owned by the Chigago Tribune--relatively conservative) has an anti-cop agenda, this doesn't support that argument in the least. Bad job, bad journalism.

Why not shoot the engine? over shooting somebody who is out of their mind sitting in the driver's seat? Put 50 holes in the dam radiator! Shoot the dam tires! Anything but cop suicide. Yes technically that person could have ran over the cops but it would require the cops to stand still.
Shoot the four tires and laugh at the guy as the car goes NOWHERE!!!

kudos to mr. hall for saying what he saw and not falling into the typical race issue that this will turn into. i love how these reporters find the most ignorant people to put on camera and tell their "opinions". not people like mr. hall who stated that the officers were in danger and saw the incident from the begining. and dont forget about good ol rev Jackson "We pray that the violence with the officers in this community be stopped" i wonder what rev Jacksons fealings were about the black males that shot and killed the deputy in Tamarac for no reason. i guess that wasnt a time to pull out the good ol race card. or better yet the answer to Black on Black crime that these officers deal with everyday and get no respect either way. the more i read these comments on here i realize how nieve and stupid some people are.

Great job F.L.P.D, maybe these jerk-offs will get the message. Next time try to complete the job and wak off everyone in the car. Now the tax payers have to spend money on this idiot.
