OOOOOO, so close but yet no Banana.
PATTON was NOT murdered somuch because of his desire for a new war against the Soviet threat - SPECIFICALLY, PATTON WAS KILLED BECAUSE HE KNEW ADOLF HITLER DID NOT COMMIT SUICIDE NOR DIED IN HIS UNDERGROUND BUNKER DURING THE FINAL BATTLE OF BERLIN IN 1945.
DER FUHRER NOT ONLY SURVIVED BUT LIVED AS A PROTECTED BUT CLOSETED, ECCENTRIC ELDERLY EURO "GENTLEMAN" UNTIL THE LATE 1970's - at his own request, Hitler requested to be buried in his native AUSTRIA, which he believed to be the last true bastion of traditional "German" culture in Europe. He disliked the alternative of being buried in Germany because of his personal disdain or hatred for what he described as Germany's overwhelming ANGLO-AMERICAN INFLUENCE AND CULTURE, i.e. THAT GERMANY WAS NO LONGER "GERMAN" ENOUGH FOR HITLER.
I know this because I met Mr. Hitler personally in my younger days, and had various historical discussions with him on WW2 and his agendums.
ONE OF THE GREATEST, MOST HORRIBLE OF HORRIBLE, BLACKEST OF BLACK, SECRETS DECEPTIONS AND INTEL-PYWAR BLACK OPERATIONS EVER WAGED UPON THE FREE WORLD.
I could say mor, but then SEXY ASSASSIN ANGELINA JOLIE WILL HAVE TO DESTROY AND KILL YOU AND EVERYONE YOU KNOW.

I have no doubt that Patton was murdered due to his positive attitude towards removing the Soviets from political influence in Central Europe, especially in Germany and Poland. He was against the division of Europe into a Soviet sphere of influence. This attitude was contrary to the agreements between the USA and the Soviets.

Patton was a good and humane man, caught up in the web of intrigue that followed after the end of the European war.

Quite interesting. After just a little searching, I came up with some fascinating stuff like this on the internet. Sure beats the usual claptrap discussions on topix like the woman who has sex with a pine cone and was Malcolm X bi or gay.

Seek and ye shall find.

Patton was a self-absorbed s.o.b. who cared about nothing but his own image. He spent his time in the rear with the gear while brave men died. Maurice Rose was a great general and the tank commander Patton pretended to be. It was the 3rd Armored Division who actually did much of what Patton and the Third Army took credit for.

Wow, you seem to know so much. What exactly did Gen. Patton receive the DSC and DSM for?

Patton was initially rejected for the DSC. Despite the fact that the process of recommending and vetting candidates for the DSC was supposed to be secret, Patton lobbied hard for the medal and was eventually awarded the DSC in 1918. The DSC was for his service in WWI, as was his DSM.

My father drove and commanded tanks with the 3AD and was attached briefly to Patton's 3rd Army during the Battle of the Bulge. Patton was enthusiastically willing to sacrifice the lives of others for his own glory. According to my dad, many of Patton's own men claimed that they would have taken him out themselves if they had had a clean shot.

Gen. Maurice Rose was superior tank commander (perhaps the best) who understood the technology (Patton knew nothing about tanks). He was a private many who sought no personal accolades. He loathed war, but was ferocious in combat. He led the 3rd Armored Division from the front. Rose expected no soldier to take risks that Rose himself was unwilling to take, and did not put others lives at risk for personal gain or "glory". There is no mystery surrounding the death of General Rose. He was killed in action on 30 March, 1945. His presence at the front was no fluke. A few days earlier he personally led a squad consisting of a colonel, a major and two privates against twenty German soldiers hidden beside their road. All the Germans were shot or captured.

For his service in WWII Rose earned the following.

Distinguished Service Cross
Distinguished Service Medal
Silver Star with two Oak Leaf Clusters
Legion of Merit with an Oak leaf Cluster
Bronze Star with an Oak Leaf Cluster
Purple Heart with an Oak Leaf Cluster
French Legion of Honor
French Croix de Guerre with palm
Belgian Croix de Guerre with palm

Patton died in a crash of his jeep.
Why are there so many idiots who must create conspiracy for any event that has profound impacts?
Oswald killed Kennedy alone,Jack Ruby(Rubenstein) killed Oswald because he was a loser nobody who craved attention and he got it!
Grow up people, sometimes historical events are rather bland.

My uncle was with the 3rd infantry. He told me Patton was killed by his troops who strung a wire across a road and Patton was beheaded when he hit the wire. If it wasn't for Obama's illegal war, he would be alive today!

Some of you guys are idiots. You know nothing of history. You are like the "metrosexual" kids we have running around in the our halls at schools all over this once proud country. Hell...go into a male bathroom in a school today. They piss all over the stalls, the toilets the walls. I just figured out the problem...fathers are no longer fathers. The Mothers are doing all the raising today. Most American fathers are not fathers at all. The toilet problem: women don't have one, therefore the "metrosexuals" don't know how to aim. Anybody that would say something negative about an American hero is most probably and early prototype of the "metrosexual"!

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Aries

It's one of those days when you'd be wise to mind your Ps and Qs if you want to avoid putting both feet in it or feeling like a fool. The trouble is that you're finding it hard to think before you speak, and you're rushing into situations without thinking about the possible consequences. All you can do is to apologize and try your hardest not to let it happen again.
