Judge it!
Does Lakeview belong to any league anymore? Or do they play nothing but non-league games?
I lived and taught in Lakeview 30 years ago, and followed their sports scores in the papers for sometime, but now when I look, I can hardly find any reference to the Honkers!
Oregon High School Football - Tulelake edges Lakeview
The Lakeview Honkers football team , was edged 20-18 in Friday's non-league game with the visiting Tulelake Honkers The Honkers now own a 4-1 record.

I have found photo's of Klamath Ore where i Was born in 1942.
But I can't find any photo's of Tulelake,ca. i went to school in the first and second grade. And remember geting out of school when a blizzard hit!Of course we had a fun. I remember me and a friend finding an unlucky forzen dog in an forzen canal behind my house. we found a broom stick and played with that and the dog as jungel hunters!you could ice skate in that canal! Anybody have any photo's then and now? I can't find any on line! Take care Dennis Sanders |
