The water level looks to have fallen significantly. Does anyone know if the campground (Shadow Rock) is open yet? Thanks

Kendra, The picture that says it was taken on June 28th shows the water levels down. You think this is an older pic? I would love to see the area 'now'.

Kendra, I posted them earlier. They may have to be approved before they are visible, hopefully.

Kendra, scroll up to the top of the postings. You will see a thumb view photo. Click on this one then you can see the ones I posted from the floods earlier. The original one I was talking about is the 2 bridges. I posted another one that shows the one bridge under water earlier this year.

I didnt take any of the pictures. I did a search and found them. This was earlier in the year when I had planned on a camping trip to Shadow Rock. I just love that place. Its so peaceful and the people are so nice.

I can see them now Kendra. Can you? They are in thumb nail view. Anyway, I was just curious if the water was as high now as it was 3 months ago.

How strange. It must just take time to be approved. Its weird I can see them just fine now. All I did is click on 'Forsyth Photo Album' and they were there. My point I guess is when you were there the water was still pretty high? The pics I posted show the campground completely inundated with water.

Kendra, Were you able to see the pictures yet? I looked at them without logging in a while ago so you should be able to see them. Then I would like to know if you think the water is as high now as it is in the pictures. Thanks and have a great day.

Thanks Bull Shoals down about 4 feet, but it is still up around 36 feet over power pool. Rodeo arena and Park are still flooded. No camping this year. Talk is lake might be down in late fall, that is if we don't get any more heavy rains.

Thats sad. I generally camp there 4 or 5 times a year and am not real fond of the private campgrounds. They are just too crowded. Maybe next year...
