I've been looking at events advertised in local saddle clubs but all are pretty involved. I don't have days and days to go on long rides, with horse, garden, kid transportation and mealtime chores to do. Any moms, dads, students or seniors want to get together for some easy, short one to four hour rides locally? Dirt roads and trails, no parades etc. I don't know enough people around here to have a pool of horsey friends to solicit.

THis was supposed to say in the Milaca area, not Loretto. Don't know where Loretto came from in the original post.

Loretto is where your ISP is located.
You need to contact the breed clubs like the Walking Horse Association www.mnwha.com and others. Those people would love to go with you. They head to Kathio, Huntersville and Pillsbury at the drop of a hat and they are all nice folks.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Cancer

It's a sensational Full Moon in your sign, combined with a lunar eclipse! Holy cow! However, once you accept that even the best-laid plans could go awry today, you'll find that life is a lot easier to cope with. Try your hardest to take everything in your stride, even if you do have to rethink an arrangement at the eleventh hour. At least it's never a dull moment! Do your best not to let the tensions of the day spoil what promises to be some spectacular New Year's Eve celebrations. It will be an opportunity to let off steam. Have fun!
