Solutions is simple, convert all municipal pensions for all employees, current and future to
401-K's to match private sector programs. This This excessive program for a defined benefit is not affordable to the RI citizens. Government employees should not be treated any better than the general working public. This out of date budget breaking program is sucking the life out of this state. To save your hard earned dollars from the "Tax Man", you must vote the current group of legislators out of office. Their only concern is to keep the municipal union employees happy at the expense of your family. In the end, you can sign up for Medicad while the government employees are living a life of comfort in retirement. |
