New adult day-care center for older Asian Indians opens in Edison

i hear there are better centers for asian americans nearby such as jfk hartwyck and south amboy.

is there anything in south jersey area-cherry hill, somerdale, vorhees. please post any info

Hi,i work for a wonderful day care center called sunshine,its located in bergenfield not too far from hudson county,we have close to 100 gudjarati,punjabi & cindi seniors that come to enjoy our program every day,we provide door to door transp.,we serve gudjarati & punjabi food.we do pooja in the center & we frequently go on temple trips,movies & other exciting activities,we also have a myriad of on site activities that we do including yoga,bingo,etc.....we also have employees who speak hindi/gudjarati including our nurse,we also offer physical therapy on site,i think your parents would really love the socialization & may even meet some old friends + make new ones! hi! i saw your mesg regarding a day care center in hudson county.... we are running an adult day care center named "five star adult day care".... it is located at linden, new jersey....do not worry about the distance becoz we have the transportation facility which is of free of cost... want to know more details, mail me:

Amazing! Why doesn't this exist for other seniors? Free door-to-door, no cost day care centers restricted to one ethnic group and WE are paying for it with our taxes?!?! What the heck is going on??

Had to pay an arm and a leg to have my mom in a senior day care center!

WOW, to think that the peopel who lived here in USA, New Jersey their whole life could not get assistance to live a confortable life in a nursing home.
It takes minority GIFT money for illegal (Non-USA born) aliens to receive money from our Goverment. Most of the aliens curse the United States, but want to take the Gift money and Lady Liberty Arms too if possible.
WOW, If you dont earn it, work for it, speak english, or LOVE THE USA, than go to another country and see if they give you anything.

Freak and Lady L, are classic examples of clueless, ignorant people in America!! Where in the article (or in any of the comments) does it say that they are illegal aliens?!? Or that it's free!? You have to be an American citizen or at least a legal US resident to qualify for medicaid/medicare. It doesn't matter what ethnic background they're from.. they pay taxes too! Have you ever thought that the establishment is geared towards Asian Indians because there was a need for it? Perhaps their older folks would rather have Indian meals and participate in their own religious activities and whatnot. Geez... next time, THINK before you post.

Hello, I used to work in an adult day care and the whole place is a fraud. It is a fraud to the state and to us because these people are getting Medicaid to cover their expenses in the day care when most of them don't need it. A lot of them are in their 60's and healthy. They are not supposed to be covered for the state unless they have a health condition that requires supervision during the day. When health department comes to visit owners tell them to act as if they are really sick and they are very good at it. Most of them are not even citizens and they are using our taxes while our citizens cannot get what they need most of the times. Besides, they live with their sons or daughters in quarter million, perhaps more, homes That is totally wrong!

i feel the pinch for supporting appx. 12 million illegal non english speaking walked in america rather then legal route..
