Pizza is unhealthy! LOL

OK when you say real NY style, are you speaking from experience?

I've heard NY style a million times and it NEVER is!

Not quite NY pizza.(I speak from experience.) Nothing special. Staff was rude and incompetent.
Prices a bit high...$9 for a salad, and $6 for garlic knots that are complimentary at other "NY style" pizza restaurants.

I wonder if Hawkdad is an owner?
Considering all the kids around there, including mine are "Hawkers", it's quite possible.

NO HAWKDAD IS NOT AN OWNER!!!
HAWKDAD IS JUST ONE OF OUR MANY HAPPY CUSTOMER'S
I'm sorry you may have a bad experience! It's tough when a small family business is written up in two newspapers within a day of each other with no warning!!!! We did our best being short handed. And what's wrong with kids working. Three off which are mine. EVERYONE HAS HAD A FIRST JOB!!!!!!
We never claimed to be NEW YORK style pizza. We import our dough from Brooklyn and we use the best cheese available. "Grande".
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. We have many customers that love our pizza, food and service. These are the friends and customers we want to return.
Unfortunetly, it's usually only the complainers that write reviews or blogs!!!!!
I challenge you to join us during the week and speak to any one of our customers and ask them if it's not the best pizza they have ever had!!!

Simmer down sugar! I don't have an opinion as I've not eaten there.
It's very close to my house but pizza is extremely unhealthy.
I just read reviews for when I do choose to eat pizza.
I mean after all, if I'm going to waste the calories, I want it to be worth it.

You seem awfully touchy! Perhaps you're in the wrong business. After all, if you don't want to be scrutinized on your taste, appearance, age of the staff (your kids or not), then don't be a business owner.

If these things don't bother you, then why are you so defensive.

Regardless, best of luck with your place!

Christine:

I look forward to visiting your place. It was recommended by my boss's (NY Italian) wife. They travel to your place from Snellville and love it. Their pleasure in life is finding and dining out at good restaurants (even street vendors!). She told me it wasn't authentic NY style and that you don't make that claim, but that it is excellent. My family will be there soon.

If you're looking for a delicious, authentic tasting meal with outstanding and courteous service, then Dino's is the right place to be.

Of course, the Golden Rule applies here as it does in any public situation. Those who leave bad comments about the service evidently went in and were upset by the fact that they didn't get fast food-style treatment. The owner was even nice enough to allow our family to wait inside when we arrived early on Father's Day.

I would definately recommend this place and, as a family from New York, this is as close to the real thing as you can get in Georgia.

My husband has been on a search for a pizza like the one he grew up with in St. Pete, FL. He loves the small round spicy pepperoni and Gino's has it. We enjoy this eatery so much we had his 40th birthday there in May. You feel like you are with family. It's great to have a place that thinks about kids too ... free video games and a chalkboard wall. We've lived in this part of Gwinnett County since 1993. It's exciting to have a local pizza parlor ... and not a chain restaurant.

We love Dino's!!!! We go there all the time and love the fact that the owner (Dino) is right in the kitchen talking to us. We don't get that from Pizza Hut or Papa John's. Great family enviroment!! Wonderful Food!! Love the Wedgie!

Unfortunately I can not afford to eat there every week.
The menu is a bit overprice, but the food is ok.
I am still looking for a Old English style pizza, like they have in philly.

Dino's is wonderful and they were just recently recommended to us. We enjoy everything on the menu and all the employees, owners included, are very nice. We make our own pizza at our house but have tried theirs and it is delicious. Usually order their wings, salads, sandwiches and the garlic knots are to die for. As a matter of fact, just about to call in a delivery order to enjoy during the football game. Try it, MOST people I am sure will like it! And Christine, tell Billy HI!

Dino's pizza is amazing food. The pizza is very fresh and delicious. My family grew up in New york. I was raised around every possible pizza place there is in New york and Dino's is by far the best and closest to NY pizza ive tried here. Ive tasted other pizzas from many, many places and there is nothing like dino's! Its worth every calorie. The menu is wonderful and the kids section is so unique. THe wedgies are to die for, as so the garlic knots. and aLifeUncommon, get over yourself. Hate to break it to you, but your little "know it all attitude" gets real old, real fast. CHristine and Dino, AMAZING PLACE!

Aren't you just the cutest little thing.
I have quite the life. All I did was comment to Christine when she blasted me. I didn't even say anything ugly and I got blasted.

You must be a friend.

So much love and effort. You want the day to be a big success, and it's going to be that way. You'll be very popular if you can bring some spontaneity to the day, such as springing an exciting surprise on everyone or swapping a tired old tradition for something much more interesting.
