A shrinking population: If Latinos are leaving, where are they going?

i am so glad these criminals are finally leaving!!!!they cause traffic accidents all the time!!!they have huge families who have inundated our schools and hospital,parks,and anything else we the the honest tax payers pay for.

Enjoy it while you can. It is only a small share that have left and when (and if, of course) the economy can be turned around in Atlanta, they'll be back. Once again, if they are here illegally, give them 30 days to get out or they lose their head(s). I'm all for taking their head(s) instantly, but I am TRYing to make the whining liberals happy :)

I hope this means my neighborhood will no longer have 5-10 cars parked on the front lawns.

That is the problem...the liberals made the United States Justice Systmen a total joke in the 70's. Otherwise trash from Mexico never would have gotten in.

Nuñez said he is worried about the effect that the 287(g) program is having on families in Hall County. When parents are deported, U.S. born children have to follow or stay behind with relatives or friends.

Those children are not Mexicans, Nuñez said.

"It's going to be difficult for them to adjust to Mexican culture," he said."

Use the term "nomads" if you like. These nomads are illegal. 30 years ago, they would have been thrown back into their homeland faster then they came and that is IF they ever made it across the border. Today....under the current system we have our own men in prison for doing their job in throwing a piece of trash back into his own country.
They may be a missing person in another land, but if they are here and do not have legal residency, no they are not a missing person. They are "illegal alien".

We are seeing it here - the illegals are moving to more hospitable (see sanctuary) areas as long as they can find jobs and housing.

Yes I can see how much illegal immigration from Juarez has benefitted El Pasoans. The primary languge in El Paso is spanish. When I was a soldier at Ft Bliss in El Paso in the 70's english was the primary languge. And most Mexican Americans in El Paso primary languge was english. Now a good portion of El Paso's population are illegals from Juarez and other parts of Mexico. El Paso in the 70's was a pretty nice place to raise a family. Good jobs, low crime, low taxes, cheap housing, no graffiti, no gangs, no illegals, no urban sprawl. Nafta and open borders have changed El Paso for the worse.
