And what shread of factual information is that based on??
Well let’s see. First, his recent casenet files show a bank garnishment. The proprietor claims to hold a Master’s and Doctorate in Theology from a questionable school “Life Christian University”. Quick research on the internet shows it to be a sham unaccredited school. The faith healer Benny Hinn is a graduate. lol. His supposed church that he ran “Remnant Worship Center” was foreclosed on in 2010 according to Madison County records. The one address he has listed property under in Hermans Orchard lists the defunct church as the property owner (IRS red flag). Ironically, this property used to be owned by former convicted Berkeley City Manager Joseph King. He boasts of putting expensive decorative items in the new business in a past Patch article and then it goes up in smoke. Also, I noticed what seemed to be employees standing in front of the business on Saturday as I was driving by. I thought to myself that is a sign of bad management when employees have to wait outside because no one is there to open up. Not a good sign for longevity. Anyone care to finish painting the picture? By the way, this is in no way accusatory. Remember, innocent until proven guilty and I should add that arson is more of a “white” collar crime. Pun intended.

I love a person who can put together some good research!
They also owe personal property taxes for the past 5 years, almost $9,500 worth.. That's even assuming those assments are correct, and include all his vehicles.
Of course his 2011 real estate taxes don't appear to be paid either. Not surprising since he didn't pay his 2009 until last March. Ridiculousness though considering the taxes are exempt due to him fraudulently filing with the County as a Religious Church. He only has to pay a $28 sewer fee and he can't even pay that! Meanwhile all his neighbors are paying their taxes in the 5,800 range!

between his cars and the two years he's filed his house as a taxed exemption. He had either scammed or not paid the county over $20.000. This guy is nothing more than a POS.

not to mention they has a home foreclosed on after 6 years in jost farms. It appears the home was foreclosed on in Oct. He also had the church tied to the home a few years before that to get the tax exemption, but dropped the church before it forclosed on. It seems the property went back and forth a few times in that 6 years between him and his wife and the churchs name.

It seems you have experience and a good understanding of this sort of mentality. Congratulations and thank you for your contribution.
People like you are the ROOT of racism.
Now, this is where you come back with name calling, more racism, and proof of your lack of IQ and education.

Well, we are not to JUDGE, I won't but I will state the fact of the matter, Pastor are to lead their pastures (sheep) into the LIGHT, not toward darkness. How effective can a Pastor really be on a Sunday Morning-- telling us, beware of the dark life style, while they are PROMOTING it, whether he was not on "the bar side", he is STILL ACCOUNTABLE for knowing and going along with it for the GREED OF MONEY.....

What did his action produce? ARSON, and a BIG BLOW to the BODY OF CHRIST.

We all have SIN and SINNED---- but their is a HIGHER ACCOUNTABILITY to Pastors... Woe, you Pastor who scatter HIS SHEEP.

Pastor's are not exempt from SIN, but I KNOW when you are HONEST about your SINS-----GOD WILL COVER YOU- YOU WILL NOT BE EXPOSED.-----in a negative way.

Will he repent....(that's on him)... the ACCOUNTABILITY IS, "how will WE treat him"... LOVE and FORGIVENESS?---

MY RESPONSE and REACTION (my thoughts, opinions)--- That is what I/WE are going to be held accountable for --- I/WE will be held ACCOUNTABLE for how I/WE respond and react... our thoughts and our opinions.

I guarantee you this, HE IS NOT WORTH BURNING IN HELL FOR-

Let God deal with the/His "set man" ----no matter what HE DID, HE WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE....

Whether he was CALLED to PASTOR or HE JUST WENT on HIS OWN---

VEGENCE IS LORD'S....
FORGIVENESS IS THE LORD'S....

I PRAY GOD WILL SHOW US.... HOW HE WILL STILL GET HIS DUE GLORY... even in this....

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

You are pitiful. People like you make the entire white race look like scum. What he did was wrong, but it has nothing to do with what color his skin is. I may cause my share of trouble here on topix but its only directed at dirtbags like you that come here and say crap like that. I hope you wake up some day and are able to enjoy the diversity that we have in this world now.

Some of the posts seem like uneducated Caucasian people posing as uneducated African Americans.
Comments of a few are so angry, if you actually saw a person talking like this, it would be a comedy of ignorance.
Perhaps with all the hate and anger the bad actors could take more classes or get therapy.
Really, no one in there right mind would put this garbage in the universe , pure ignorance and severe anger issues. This much bile would merit a diet change..........more fiber, perhaps.

LS must have some money. He posted his own 10% bond to get out of jail. He put up $1000. No one is backing the $10,0000 so if he skips bail it will go uncollected.

Well ... nobody was physically hurt. And the insurance probably did not pay out ... at least to him. So he still has his church to make money and he is likely to be sued for damages by the co-tenants and building owner and their insurers, so perhaps its better he's not living on the taxpayer's dime.

He has a big crib in Herman's Orchard that was removed from the county tax rolls several years ago as he began claiming it as his parsonage. Maybe the county will revoke that status too. Could be some IRS issues looming on that one also.

You never know, Marion Barry and OJ have rock star status in the black community and maybe this guy will end up making out like a bandit or run for county executive or something. Maybe this is just what he needed.

This is pathetic. This man burns his business, someone property, puts firefighters at risk, is underinsured, is costing the property owner and adjoining businesses grief and money, is causing actions by the city of Florissant, and has broke any number of laws, and a St. Louis County Prosecutor and a Judge, have determined, all he is penalized is,$1000 and 5 year probation.

the moral of the story is, if you can't afford you home, burn it, if you can't afford your car, burn it, if you don't like your neighbor, burn it, if you don't like your landlord, burn it. St. Louis County has your back.

What a joke,
Fire bugs and pedophiles are some of the worst offenders. You cant cure either and they should be locked up tight! What was that judge thinking?

I don't think the judge was thinking.

Very poor judgement.

If this crime was commited Clayton or West County, this guy would have gotten jail time. I guess this was one of those politically correct things to do.

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Cancer

Love could catch you by surprise today. You might be strongly attracted to someone who isn't your usual type at all but who makes your knees go weak all the same, or you could get caught up in an illicit relationship that's exciting because it has to be kept a secret. If you're already involved with someone they'll need plenty of freedom and won't appreciate feeling emotionally tied down. You need to let them off the leash for a short while!
