the marlboro county bulldogs will be very good this year this is the year of the battle for the state with the winning going to the DAWGS.

That is a sad situation that is coming up at this moment. No one cares about the educational value in MCHS just the football team. Truly sad, you have the great heroes like Zimmerman and Newton, one which could not go to Clemson right away because his grades sucked and the other charged with robbery in a group of 6. The light shines for them while truly great people have gone off to become better and get higher educations and are shadowed by this sport. Long live the MCHS Bulldogs.

get your facts right before you make comments, buddy. Is, the only reason you speak of Zimmerman and Newton, is because those are the only guys you hear about on tv. Before them, their were guys like, Mitchell Galloway, Anthony Cook, Woods Johnson, Marquis Stubbs, Eric Williams, Derrick Wilson, Kenta Byrd, Chuck Driggers, David Moody, Kelvin Buie, Anthony Joyner, Thomas Ashe, Eric McNeil, Antiono Williams, Edmond Clark... and the list goes on and on. So before you speak about the education at Marlboro County High School, ask yourself, are you upset because no one can name anyone from you high school area, or is it that Marlboro County is that good. Think about it.
And, for you info, the last time I've check, everyone listed above, graudated with very well respected GPA and SAT scores.

listen to bulldogs get yours facts right sucker, marlboro always a beast in the pee dee with players like, cam newton my cousin play in the nfl for 3yrs, jason ocean, derrick cook, quinton teal play for the carolina panthers, not including two more player who have play in the nfl mitchell galloway and anthony cook had play in the nfl in the last ten yrs so get your stats right sucker marlboro county 4 life thanks for the state title in 07 c/o98 hahah

Matt, have you ever lived in Marlboro County on a Friday night during football season??.......When it's go time and the lights come on, all of the county gather and join as one,for the very same reason,because we all support our dawgs. We don't have a mega mall, or a wal-mart for that reason but we've got our dawgs and as long as we've got them we're happy. So Matt, mind your own business and let this dawg lay.

There are several other players from Marlboro County High Schools early football team that are very successful. Guys like Quinn McCollum, Edward Cook, Joel Littles, Marvin Williams, Antwane Little, Allen Harrington, Marvin Williams, Bobby Davis, Darrick McQueen, David Byrd, Ivor Miles, Elliot Hepburn, Tracy Mcintyre, Clellan (Red) Tyson, and Teddy Smith. I could keep going, some of those guys are doctors, successful businessmen, and leaders in our armed forces today. Although all of them did not make it to the professional level, they have made an impact in that community and started the tradition of "Bulldog Pride!" GO DAWGS

OMG to be honest Wilson and Marlboro are both good teams but sum times it jus have to be a winner and it wasn't Wilson.. Maybe next time... but i have that "Panther Pride"

Hey guys and girls... In Matt's defense... He is a product of MCHS. I not so long ago recent grad in Fact. Who now resides at the Citadel in Charleston, where in about 1 1/2 years will graduate hopefully with honors. So all the bashers, you need the facts before you start...

Would each of us prefer to have more and better jobs to support our economy, or another state championship football season. If our school board would cut out the Football program and divert all of their funding to education(which by the way is a very large sum of money), more people would have a greater chance for living a productive and successful life in or out of Marlboro County... Just a thought.

Why is everyone hating on marlboro county? I mean just because yall Stay in Marlboro co. don't mean nutting. Yall in the past we suck but we are slowly getting better and our players are working on their grades that way they can be successful on the field and in the classrooms. So stop hating on us!!!!!

yea well im origanlly from marlboro county. but i moved to camden about 2 years ago. camden plays marlboro county this year. marlboro county is nothing but a thug town. over runned by a certain type of people. none of the students sit in the stands and cheer. its a sorry school and sorry town. all i can say is that marlboro county better be ready to take on our dawgs in camden, where our students gather by the hundreds and paint up and tailgate 3 hours befoer the game. so when yall come, i hope you dont come in underestimating us.
