I had a breif chance to speak to a member of the volunteer committee on this upcoming conference. I will not be able to attend but am using my registration fees as a scholership for another attendee who was strapped for cash. I have however come across a few people complaining about the conference and the speakers. I have worked as receptionist at a few multi purpose business' and know that the organization of a conference is ALWAYS subject to change. ANYONE who has worked in the business field knows that. The founder of the Organization hosting this conference who had to take a major step back after a stroke. Her two original partners backed out and her kids and sister have been doing most of the work on this! I would like to see more people show up this weekend to at least make the physical pain suffered to put this together worth the while.
And if more changes happen so does life!!! Thanks Dora |

Does it have to be in the fall? The Fibromyalgia Coalition International is hosting a two-day conference in Kansas City on May 14 & 15, 2009, "Hope & Help for Fibromyalgia & CFS". Speakers include Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum, Dr. Gloria Gilbere, Dr. Jack Ferguson, Dr. Stephen Gradwohl, the vice president of the local Celiac Sprue Association, and the founder of FCI. Watch for details on the Coalition's website after January 1, 2010: www.fibrocoalition.org .
