I dont care how desperate you are. You ask for help you don not abandon your baby. How sad for this little beautiful boy to have to live thru something like this. I Hope they find the mother and punish her for what she did. She must not feel any remorse otherwise she would come back and claim the child. The child is better of without her.

I would have to say that if she felt that was her only allternative than she did the right thing,at least she didn't do anything stuped.I know it was not the smartist thing to do but she could have done something a lot worse.

Further more, she may not have known that there was help out there for her or maybe she was turned down.Know one knows why this mother did what she did who are we to judge when we have not walked in her shoes, don't get me wrong I do not agree with what she did at all but for a mother to drop her baby off like that something was going on.

you think she doesn't feel remorse? i bet she's beating herself up and will for the rest of her life. she's a MOTHER who counted on the kindness of the American public to do right by her son. turns out that she was right in her trust of us. no one knows her whole situation. there was a REASON she felt she couldn't take care of him. just because we don't know what it was, doesn't make her a bad mother, it makes her a confused mother. get off her back.

also, saying she has no remorse is like saying the same thing about a mother who gives her child up for adoption. it's uneducated and makes you look dumb.

She did not do the right thing she dumped him at
Walmart. Now tell me how is that the right thing? She did do somthing stupid she left her child. Even if she is from another country you should know better. Its called common sense.

i do not care how desperate she thought she was. people get flung into this situation on a daily basis, it is called maternal instinct. you do what you have to, not dump the child. she had to have known that there was help out there, she looked like she had not missed a meal. it is stupid and not the right thing dumping him at walmart, kids get abducted everyday from stores. some sick pervert could have found him first then this story would be about finding a raped and murdered little boy. i have no sympathy for her. i hope he gets a good home with someone who loves him.

Whats dumb is that you are showing sypathy to the wrong person. Mothers who put their children up for adoption do this the right way. This lady was not smart. All I am saying is that she could have handled this differently. She could have given the boy to relatives. She chose not to. I have no sympathy for the mother. Thank goodnes this did not happen but What if a bad person whould have picked this boy up? What then?

Abandoning a toddler and placing a child up for adoption are two totally different things. I admire birth mothers more than you could imagine. Adoption is an unselfish decision made in the best interest of a child. This is a woman who ditched a child at a public place and left his afraid and alone and for what? His best interest??
