State Patrol wreck in Ocilla this morning

I was just wondering why nothing has been said about the patrolman that hydroplaned this morning and hit the house on 129,south of ocilla, was not reported to walb,guess maybe they were trying to keep it quite. Sorry cats out of the bag.

I wonder; did he right himself a ticket for "to fast for conditions"?

He is fine. Car, not so much. he was a very lucky guy.

I actually know the family, they said that the cop hydroplaned about 430 this morning!

Of course not. He is the police. They don't do drugs or alcohol. It was unavoidable and not his fault. He had a good reason to be doing 90mph in the rain.

Actually, he was going less than 50, according to the electronic records of his car. He hydroplaned, traction control kicked in, and it was all over but the shouting. He is a very lucky guy.

I personally think he folks in the house were lucky.

I to personally know him and am so glad no one was hurt! He was on his way to training when this happened. This was an unavoidable accident that could of happened to anyone! Just because he is GSP doesn't make him inhuman, he's just a man who is as vulnerable as the rest of us!

Hope this cures his little--big attitude. Guess he understands he is not in control all the time.

I wrecked in the same fashion one time and I was doing 10mph under the speed limit and I was given a ticket for "to fast for conditions". I argued with the state patrol and there were witnesses that verified I was not even doing the speed limit. The officer told me to shut my mouth, that he knew the law and if you wreck in the rain you were going to fast for the conditions, and for me to shutup or I was going to jail.

Ticket, if you had shut up, youi probably wuldn't have got 1.

Glad the officer is OK.

Damn you little jon. I didn't start arguing with his litle smart ass until he gave me the ticket.

well if an officer has a wreck they have to have a drug test and if all you cop haters would get ya facts in order before you get ya mouth in gear ya might learn something....

Did he get a ticket for "to fast for conditions"? "Ticket" is right that is the law.
