Review: Catfish One

Located in the old Michaels Deli. Freshly renovated.Smiling greeters meet you at the door. Dine in,take-out,drive through. Souvenir T-shirts and caps.Decent menu. Good food. Fried food. Grilled catfish coming soon. On the web at www.catfishone.net .

I tried it three times changing my menu each time.I was not really taken in at all.My first meal was cold my second was hot but terrible my last was without a doubt totally not a good catfish meal. Where is the catfish in fillet.No flavor could have about been any pre packaged fish.I find captain D's better eating.I was really looking forward to a good fish place coming to Fitzgerald ,it did not happen with catfish one. MY thoughts is shortly they will not have enough business to stay open unless they change their menu to real catfish.

The one time I tried the fish at that place, I was sick all night...never again..
To me it is a rip off.

This place was nasty the first time they opened the doors! They need to get out of town!

I think if you notice their customers are getting less and less, they will be gone by years end.

The place was spotless... what in the world?

We really enjoyed the food, it was very nicely decorated and clean. My little boy loved the fish aquarium and the ice cream. I ate the catfish fillets and I am a VERY picky fish eater and it was very good. My husband had the seafood platter and he loved it as well too... not sure why all the other complaints???

I eat there at least twice a week and the place is spotless. The people are friendly and the food is great. I'd much rather eat their chicken fingers than Zaxby's. Their catfish is good too! I don't understand all the other complaints. Some people look for stuff to complain about.

I have never been sick and have eaten there about 3 times a week since it opened. The price is right which includes a drink with the meal. Plenty of food for the money too. The catfish fillets are always crisp and hot. The Soups are good. And there stuffed potato salad is as good as any I've ever had. If someone got sick, it was because of what they had for breakfast. They now have whole catfish and fillets. Their popcorn shrimp is good too...especially on their shrimp po boys. IF any one got cold food, I can assure you that those pleasant, smiling faces would have fixed the problem immediately. The Chicken fingers are the best I have ever had...very similar to Guthries, but better!

Absolutely the best oysters I have ever had. Depending upon the season, they can get as big as 4 inches across.

managers are locals who will guarntee our food safety, quality, and taste... we are not a perfect company, but we are HERE to stay and we will do whatever it takes to make customers happy!

Food score 100A from 2 different inspectors. How can we be nasty and achieve a perfect score? Our assistant manager scored higher on the ServSafe class than 2 inspectors who were getting re-certified. We are the safest, cleanest, highest quality restaurant in Fitzgerald!

The place is clean the employees are friendly.There is enough food,the service is fine.
