If you read any book on the subject of organized crime; you will read of crooked cops who profitted from the activety and helped to keep the illegal activety out of harms way. Whether the successfull illegal activety was drugs, prostitution or bookmaking; you will find crooked cops being involved.
We would be fools if we did not at least consider that is what is going on in here in F-burg. As I have said countless times on this Forum, it is obvious that the drug dealers are not the least bit concerned about the FPD coming down on them.
If it walks like a duck; it quacks like a duck; and it looks like a duck; it's a duck. Well if you witnessed a cop turning a blind eye to drug dealing as it happens under his nose that means that you have also witnessed this drug dealing. What have you done, have you taken pictures? have you written down license plates? most likely not. Every profession has its bad apples, cops, firemen, clergy, doctors, bankers, lawyers, businessmen, politictions, teachers, the list is endless. All you and Lynch do is bitch,whine and complain about cops. You both make accusations with no hard evidence. Every police department in this country has made errors, they are human to. In that line of work they depend on informants and other sources of intelligents to nail these people. Sometimes they get wrong information and screwups happen, and it will happen again somewhere, somehow by somebody.

Seems like you are one of the posters whom always use the police as an example but do not mention the other occupations and individuals that can abuse the system.
Why is that? It must be okay for a non-government worker to take advantage of the system according to your mentality. Just because a cop is running a business doesn't mean he if fit to perform the duties of a police officer. Cops have strict standards that they have to follow in order to do there job, very physical standards. A minor knee operation may prevent a cop from running, so chasing a drug dealer or any other suspect is out of the question. He may have gotten an injury on the job that was enough to prevent him from doing his job 100%. Even desk cops have to be able to perform 100% even the chief. Kaddy maybe able to physically install flooring and carpets but his disability may prevent him tackeling or chasing after a suspect. doing so would cause even greater injury. Payton Manning got the ok to play football again but his injury is preventing him from throwing the ball like he used to, so in the football work he can't perform 100% and most likely his career is over. He'll get a disability pension from the league, but he can still work in football just not at the capacity he once did. Tom Foley, the former SP commander had to be able to do the job of a line trooper, but his heart issue prevented him from doing so he had to go retire under disability. He was able to run for sheriff because the sheriff is purely an admistrative position and the standards at teh sheriffs department are much, much lower than police departments. If I saw Kaddy out training for a marathon or a powerlifting contest, yes I would be concerned. But he has the right to operate a business.

One went as far as recording license plate numbers for weeks and passing them along to the police. But, the drug house has been in full blown operation for the past 4 years.... I have learned not to expect much of anything from the F-burg PD. That way; I am never disappointed in them.....

When an employee retires on a medical disability that only pertains to the job or occupation he is retiring from. Once the retirement is offical and becomes approved by the medical board and is SIGNED OFF that former employee is free and allowed to do as they please. They can go jogging, run a business and so on. They cannot return to their former occupation without medical clearance. Just like a welfare recipient whom spends the taxpayers money on entertainment, cigaretts and alcohol. They cannot be discriminated against from doing other activities.
