And finally, why do you think that Mayor Wong seems to be against Fitchburg residents and their concerns as it always seems like she is against Fitchburg residents?

I would expect the business atmosphere to be a result of the economic conditions we are under in this country. If you open your eyes, you would recognize that our entire country is in an economic slump. Fitchburg was a mill town with industries that went into decline, as well as industries that moved operations down south and into other countries. The mayor has less influence than you imply in controlling what businesses and who decides to do business in Fitchburg. Our current mayor has the skillsets needed to help Fitchburg financially and she has been doing that.
My best suggestion Kevin is for you to go away...that would be a tremendous help to the citizens of Fitchburg. The drama that you bring with you just distracts everyone from focusing on the issues that count...if you are really sincere about helping Fitchburg...GO AWAY AND LEAVE US ALONE!!

As Unitil is allowed to operate as a Monopoly is it ethical for a president of a state University to be on that Monopoly's board of trustees?
Myself, I do not feel that it is ethical but my feelings could just be that my feelings as it may be ethical. This is why I am asking for you to clarify.
As an opponent, I am also asking you about the Tasca investigation. How much money was funneled through this process? What are the particulars? As a public elected official I feel that it is at least unethical for you as Mayor not to disclose the particulars of the Tasca reinstatement especially as yourself and the city attorney lead the public to believe that a FPD police Captain stold thousands of dollars through an accounting scheme as you stated he changed the journal entries!
If Mr. Tasca did not steal money as the public was lead to believe then do you think that you should resign??

Lets walk you through it MORON! OK, take for example a weeks pay for a Captain. First understand that there are many "accounts" to choose from when "collecting" on them in your weekly paycheck!
A Captain decides to take time off, he needs to either put in for vacation, comp, sick time or personal time ect..
The Mayor stated in this case that the Captain "physically" changed the journal postings. As the Mayor refused to disclose, we do not know which account was "physically" withdrawn from concerning PAYROLL!!!
As you hopefully know there is no account that is labeled "comp time accumulated and recorded in my own head only over the past nine years"! So an individual will withdraw from another account.
My guess was that the money may have been withdrawn from an account that the Mayor herself had set up that was designated for "extra patrols on Main st." If you remember the mAyor requested for $70,000 to be taken out of "block grant funding/CDC" and to be placed in an account to be used by the FPD for "extra patrols on Main st".
We have asked the Mayor if this was the account and if not what was the account that was "drawn" from? The Mayor has choisen to "not disclose" the particulars which leaves everybody still guessing!
Full disclosure concerning the publics money is a law!! I don't know how the Mayor is able to refuse to disclose? If this was allowable then it would be done all the time and corruption and illegal activity would take place on a regular basis!
As you state "physical cash" are you excluding the paycheck altogether as not being physical cash?? From my understanding he was withdrawing from this account in order to recieve funding through this account via his paycheck immediately!!
Now, you are I believe attempting to twist the story in a sense utilyzing the scenario of "accrued comp time"! The accrued comp time was only an issue as it was not being drawn from as it was left to accumulate 100%! It was an indicator that something was not right!
Simply, you cannot collect full pay checks while not working and not utilyzing the accrued time!
Now another point which I do not know the facts is this question. Is the accrued comp time and an individuals current salary figures upon retirring get added together from which a percentage is drawn from to determine the pension check? If so then there is definately a problem and there may be many others in trouble due to this fact also. If I remember correctly; Tasca stated "the entire administration has beeen utilyzing this comp time for years"! This could involve retired FPD members as well under this scenario.
Only the Mayor and a few others know all the particulars which leaves the rest of us to guessing. In my view the Mayor utilyzed and led the public through the entire situation until it involved reinstating the Captain. Something just doesn't seem Kosha!!
A full disclosure would answer all questions. Remember this is the publics money that is being utilyzed and spoken for as the public has an absolute right to be told where ever penny is going! Periodically the Mayor goes to the city council and request permission to move money from one account to another. The accounts in question were taken from Community Development which includes Block grant funding. This account is normally utilyzed to give loans to local small business and start ups.
