As President Obama says, Hope and Change.
I think the Burg could use a little of both right now. Get rid of Wong.

Lisa Wong is the lady to vote for. For the first time in history, she has done things right { You can't spend what you don't have.} So, my point is, how is anyone else going to do a better job hmm.

He helped create the mess with the likes of Mylott. Anyone who votes for him gets what they deserve.

REALLY? ALL people who rent from the Donnellys are ignorant? So you're saying that the retired police officer, an engineer, and a TEACHER, all renters of apartments Mr. Donnelly owns, are somehow "less-than" in your eyes? DONALD (can I call you Donald? I feel like we know each other but with a name like Donald, you've probably been an outcast all your life so maybe not.....) anyways, Donald, I believe your comments are RACIST and narrow-minded. I pray you have a prolapsed rectum (is that intelligent enough fo ya DONALD?) May the fleas of a thousand camels attack your nether region, and may your arms be too short to scratch. LMAO

Here's what TD did by pulling this stunt. He avoided having to follow campaign laws, he avoided having to have debates, he avoided having to go under scrutiny again. I'll bet this is the way he plans to run the city, with sneaky, late Mylott-like tactics. Way to go, Tom!

Please, Mr. Donnelly, do not do this. If you really wanted to run, you would have organized a campaign from the beginning.

As usual, people that oppose the tough decisions made by Mayor Wong are using fear and ignorance to sway the vote.

As a citizen, taxpayer, parent and teacher of Fitchburg, I realize we have all had to make sacrifices of some sort due to the economy. It took years of poor leadership to get us where we are - it will take some time to fix it. Give Mayor Wong a fair chance to do what needs to be done.

Yes, I agree with you! It just seems to be very sneaky and dishonest to suddenly enter the race with a week to go. I truly question the intent here. Dirty politics...not what we need!

Whether Wong runs alone or against an opponent she WILL NOT get my vote. I will leave it blank before voting for her. She is not listening to the people of this city, she just does what HER VISION is. What is going on at the corner of North and Main, we could have had a CVS but nothing is there. When you talk with her she is just very cold, she can't even fake it.

The current mayor works tirelessly to bring in new business. Constantly. It just isn't reported, and shouldn't be, until it is a reality. No one cares about the two business that opened recently that do employ more than 4-5 people (BioMass). Artsy businesses that fill up Main Street may not emply many, but they attact others from outside the area and make the street look better. Admit it. Looks better than it did a couple years ago. Takes time. The Theatre block is about to fill up with businesses. She's working with the property owner and businesses to make that happen. It is happening - you can't reverse 25 years of bad management in 2.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Taurus

Get involved in financial transactions at your peril under today's Lunar Eclipse, because certain people will use them as a stick to beat you with. For instance, if you ask someone to lend you money they'll either make you feel guilty about it or dredge up all sorts of past instances when their trust was betrayed. You would also be well advised to avoid any show of possessiveness or jealousy, even if you feel it, unless you truly don't care about the disastrous outcome.
