I've been an avid attendee of FallFest for 40+ years and the highlight has always been the pingpong ball drop. I was there the year they were shot off from the firetruck and the experience was not the same. Although safety factors need to be considered I hope that future drops can be done in such a manner as to rekindle the excitement of having the helicopter 'buzz' Bay Shore Drive.
