Village of Lockland, Ohio has been sued in federal court again this year {first suit filed by jaspir singh alleging civil rights violation when pulled over by lockland po-lice and cited for displaying a fop sticker on his car} for numerous civil rights violations: separation of church and state [display of ten commandments in front of administrative building], retaliation for exercising free speak rights, unbridled delegation of authority to the legislative body of lockland government resulting in due process violations, etc. see: knecht v. village of lockland, ohio, et al., case no. c-1-09-696 (s.d. ohio)

A class action should be initiated against the village. I heard they have two ski jets...what do the village need with two ski jets? Especially when the economy is bad, they should sell those and use the money to upgrade that filthy strip called wyoming avenue

Cited for displaying a sticker?! They must not have anything to do and with new allegations of civil rights violations it seems the village of lockland is in for a challenge

Lockland police try to hide behind the bushes of adleta construction on anthony wayne trying to catch people speeding. everyone is aware of them and it seems pathetic to have to generate revenue that way. maybe if they fixed up their rotting town they would better generate revenue via property taxes and enticing businesses to return. i'm glad i don't live in that toilet of a town

Sure, EVERY town has it's bad spots and it's problems. Lockland isn't really all that bad. I've lived here for awhile now and haven't had any MAJOR problems. The upper part of wyoming ave has seen it's better days BUT lockland is TRYING to fix it up. I've seen the way it USED to be and how things are TRYING to be now.Give it time and I believe it MIGHT work out.

Lockland has lost all of my respect and patronage. I will never shop at any business that has locations in Lockland and will encourage my friends and family to do the same. I received a speeding ticket in Lockland and I did not receive a fair trial in my opinion. Then once I was found guilty, I went to this back room and told the baliff I needed to go to an ATM to get my cash to pay my fine. He instructed me I was under arrest and would have to have someone bring me the cash or spend three days in jail in Clinton County. There was no alternative like a stay to pay go to the bank and bring the money back. This arrogant operation had 6 officers in this little cramped room policing traffic court. Then 90% of the people in the traffic court did not even live in the city of Lockland. They were people passing by, so in order to eliminate this I recommend that every individual boycott Lockland businesses and go the speed limit on 75 North bound to drain their finances and make it a ghost town. I know I will never buy or travel in any aspect of Lockland because their police dept is not assembled to protect and serve rather to ticket and build revenue for a falling city.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Taurus

Friends and partners aren't behaving as you would like today. They're eager to go their own way, much to your annoyance. In order to get round this you're going to have to ask yourself some tricky questions, such as whether you're trying to control everyone's behavior or whether they're being inconsiderate in wanting to do their own thing. It's a Full Moon and a lunar eclipse, so maybe you should all release the tension by making it a super New Year's Eve celebration?
