I used to pull alert at OSCAR ZERO in the late 70s. Nowhere does it mention how to donate to maintaining the site. I am sure there are former crew members--officers and enlisted who would contribute to the museum if the word got out.

I used to work topside security for many of the LCF's on GrandForks AFB. I would be interested in being involved in the project because I spent 6 years of my life in the missle field guarding and controlling entry to those facilities. I was stationed at GrandForks AFB from 6/75 to 2/81. Please contact me with information about the project and how I can donate time and information. I live in Oklahoma now and could travel there if need be. Thanks, Former Sgt. Robert F. Smith USAF Vet.

Mr. Smith, I work for the city of Cooperstown and we are working with the State Historical Society to get the Oscar 0 site open for tours. We have a group called the Friends of Oscar 0 that is being set up to help raise funds for the interpretive center and museum here in Cooperstown and the Oscar 0 interpretive site that will house memorabilia and host the Cold War display that is currenty at the state heritage center in Bismarck. We are anticipating a July, 2009 grand opening celebration or something once the site is open for tours. I would like to know if you are interested in being on the email list for the Friends group and be kept updated on what has been happening. If so, please reply to my email at cooperedc@invisimax.com. Thanks for your interest.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Aquarius

Be careful now, because you could easily give someone the wrong impression and not even know that you're doing it. This is most likely to happen if you're trying to pussy-foot around them or avoid offending them, because that's when things could get lost in translation. You also have a tendency to sit on the fence now, which could make you seem slightly untrustworthy or shifty if you aren't careful.
