Obama signed that TPP act that will allow Korean Tire makers to trade freely here. Tirebums will either have to take cuts in pay or go on welfare. Like it or not...thats the way the rubber hits the road

I suppose the cop also 'ran into' someone's closed fist?? lol

and as far as it being 'our employment services', no, was Cooper saying we need ANYONE, ANYTHING you can send us, and is what they got

perhaps Cooper would have done well to not try to take from wages again, instead of paying the Strom contract, or more hourly to employment services.

Then there is the scrap, wow, hope the scabs are cleaning up the mess they have made before they leave. The pictures spoke 1000 words, more actually.

am not sure in apples and oranges this all made sense. The productivity is down, scrap is up, reputation of Cooper hurt, by their own hand, and relations between workers and Cooper will never be the same.

It's funny listening to the southern boys talk about their quality and production. Don't you guys realize why you are up here? You are the ones that tupelo can afford to let go. You're not being missed down there. There's a reason they wanted to get rid of you. The only problem is Cooper is shooting itself in the foot. You can't get rid of a problem just by moving it around. When they heard they had to
send people up here, how do you suppose they decided who was going? Do you think they made a list of their best workers and said hey we can afford to lose production here? NO, they chose those of little significance, who contribute the least, the expendables, THE SCABS.
Actually we sent the ones we knew could handle working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week if you must know

I know what they did, they all volunteered to go and try to keep this company going while you ungrateful assholes went around trying to stir up trouble and cause Cooper to loose customers. We need our jobs at Tupelo, if you don't like what goes on at Findlay find you another place to work and quit trying to put us out of work.

I hear the agreement calls for the two tiered wage system whereby the old farts throw their children and grandchildren who choose to work at Cooper under the bus and also have to pay more for their medical benefits.
I wonder what plant will be lacked out next time

You scabs say you are only trying to survive and support your families...bravo! But I know myself as a man would not be able to eat the food on my families table the money that bought it of which was earned through the theft of another mans livelyhood, especially while said man was making a stand against an overwhelming force threatening the food on HIS families table. I couldn't stomach it. I have too much pride for that. Where is your pride scabs? A real man builds his foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him.

That's exactly right a real man builds his foundation with what bricks that are thrown at him. That's why we are not whining about our jobs, because we have learned to live with what we have. Which is a decent job and decent wages. You only think about all the money the Cooper CEO is making, but what about all the money the union bosses are making. We never hear anything about that. It's OK for them to make millions on dollars and live in big fancy houses at your expense.

Didn't say I was pissed. Said I have a right to be. There's a distinct differences. But since you have to resort to stealing jobs from others, I don't expect you to be smart enough to know this.

We can squabble around here for 10 years about this, but the way I see it we were doing what we had to do to try and keep Cooper afloat while some of the union folks were out trying to run customers off with there picketing of the tire dealers. And you can say what you want to about us so called scabs, but you would have done the same thing had the shoe been on the other foot and you had been working for a non union plant.

With the expiration and non renewal of the tire tariffs these union bozos will be out of work soon enough.
Hopefully welfare will collapse by then as well so that they will have to scrape the streets for food where they will learn just how worthless they are

Your immaturity is astounding. You sound like a spoiled child wishing ill upon another for having something you can't get unless you steal it. Its not our fault you can't get a cooper union job making as much as we do. Poor baby.
