I was a patient there for 9+ months, then stopped for over a year. The office can't/won't return phone calls. I requested an appointment after my brother died three months ago, and they have yet to call to schedule it. They can't keep track of payments made and will turn you into a collection agency before calling you back. I have left multiple messages asking to discuss the charge they say I owe, but they won't call me back. Waste of money for awful service.

I have had a good relationship with Dr. Raghavan for 3 years. Today she called me out of the blue screaming about a letter she received from my health insurance company. She said she was “livid” because Health Net accused her of unlawfully billing for services not rendered. I said I would contact the insurance company to get more information and try to reconcile the situation. Then she hung up on me. It is possible Health Net made a mistake, however, the call from Dr. Raghavan was unprofessional at the least and bordered on abusive. She should have called the insurance company; instead she took her frustration out on me. I am now looking for a new doctor. I would not be surprised to find other patients that have experienced similar incidences with her.

She is a decent doctor and I had an okay experience while actually in the office talking to her, although she really did want to push medications. The problem was with the office management. They misbooked appointments, lost payments, and have a difficult time returning phone calls. If you have anxiety or any issues that would be exasperated by this office incompetence, I would really recommend looking elsewhere.

She must be really hurting for money as I've gotten multiple duplicate bills. It was probably her bad staff that coded something wrong. I do have a good insurance plan and am prompt with my copays/deductibles. are you paying your bills or is there some issue with your dues that has resulted in this problem ?

Just because I had some trouble paying her bills does not mean I should be repeatedly billed. Doctors make enough money and should not try to collect bills from patients.

JJensen, dont think of me as a loser because you have money to pay your bills. This is a temporary state of affairs and soon I expect to inherit a lot of money (probably more than you ever dreamed of).

I left her practice once (story for another post) and made the mistake of going back because I couldn't find anyone else in the Conejo Valley. Well I just got off the phone w/ that b*#ch after having a screaming match with her and I'm in tears. She faxed my mail order prescription in incorrectly (once a day vs. twice a day) and now I'm out the extra copay. Why should I be out the money when she f*#ked up??? And I'm just trying to ensure I'm getting the correct dosage to avoid having an episode. You'd think she'd give a sh*t about that, but no. In closing, what a f*#king c*nt!!!!

I was a patient of Dr. Raghavan for over 3 years and she always ran 30 - 45 minutes behind schedule. She also refused to answer any of my questions over the phone, even if it was simple in nature. Instead, her staff said I needed to schedule an appointment to speak to her in person, which seemed like an unnecessary co-pay. Her current office staff isn't as competent, organized or friendly as her previous employees. Other than a few hours each day, it's almost impossible to reach them on the phone. If I ever left a message, I would have to follow-up because receiving a timely return call was rare. Most concerning was when I tried to reach the Dr. directly with an urgent matter, she wasn't able to return my call for almost 48 hours. Because of these reasons, I do not reccoment Dr. Raghavan.

Dr Raghavan was my "doctor" for four years. That was because at my age in the 50's I decided to take a Dr's advice. She misdiagnosed me and put me on a med that caused me to be a diabetic. I gained 55 lbs from that crap. My medical physician ordered me to stop at once! Dr Raghavan was ALWAYS LATE! Sometimes over 1/2 hour! She spent 10-15 minutes with you and bills your insurance for an entire hour. Once I went to lunch rather than sit in there for 1/2 hour and she reprimanded me and told me to never ever do this again. She has more nerve than brains. Finally I quit, saw a new Dr. He diagnosed me as having a level of sleep deprivation and the meds I am on are a LIFE SAVER! I wasted 4 years trying to obey this QUACK. I am not suicidal but would beg GOD to take me tonight. NO JOKE !!!

WOW...after reading all these negative comments I had to say something...I've never experienced anything other than the utmost in care, sensitivity, helpfulness, and concern...she is brilliant, and intelligent, bout a lot of matters...I've never had a better psychiatrist in my life...maybe it's you and not her???

Unhelpful, uncaring, unfeeling. Spent roughly 5 minutes with me each time. Nothing much to say. Prescribed sleeping pills that did not work and told me there was nothing else she could do for me. As far as office staff, a ditzy girl that blasts her music throughout the waiting room. Just an awful experience. I found a wonderful NEW doctor last week and will never waste my time with Dr. Raghavan again.

Dr Stephen Wilson is an excellent Dr. He is punctual always. His practice is in Thousand Oaks/Westlake area. He listens to you, he is patient, polite and tries to help you in a genuine fashion. After dealing with Dr. Raghavan for years it dawned on me that her methods were making me much more ill. Her attitude to me was demoralizing. I thank God that I switched Drs. when I did. When you are depressed, or as others, have major anxiety disorders, you do NOT need to dread dealing with your Dr. A Dr. who is reapeatedly LATE. A Dr. who tends to chide and be rude to you. One gal in Malibu is very pleased. Good for you. Whatever works is to be well noted. I did advise my insurance of the abuse of time reporting. She consistently charged them a full hour for a 10 minute visit! She charged extra for any letters required. When asked for my current records by my new Dr. she provided a list of the wrong meds that I should still be on.
