Full story: Orlando Sentinel

It would be nice to be able to get excited about the apparent uptick in Central Florida's housing market.

Jane Healy is pictured with a fake smile. The fake smile should warn you that she views any new home in Florida is part of a glut and instead of managing growth we get sprawl. However I have read this same opinion since 1972 when I moved to Florida and the state had a population of 4 million. Orlando was a very small town. Maybe you missed it Jane but the Cubans are coming to Florida and will join families from NY, Ohio, New Jersey, Michigan and Illinois.

Now the rest of the news: Osceola was on time with the reporting requirements of DCA on the schools and water. First approved by DCA with comments that the county challenged. One year later
DCA and the county came into agreements. However the rules on water and schools had already been in force 14 months before the final approval of the DCA. The last paperwork was approved by the Osceola County Commission the 20th of April.

What is your point procurator? It's all good? Florida's population is not growing. We have too many vacant homes already. We don't need more development. You must be a planner with too much spare time.

The plan that was approved goes to 2025.There is an Urban boundary that can't be be moved that shuts down
urban sprawl by Planned developments.Roads and schools must be in place before the first new home is sold. All new developments must be hooked up to city water and sewer services.A lot of the projects that were approved will expire and the new rules will kick in. I know that you didn't contribute to the problem as you have lived in the same house since 1970. That is considered the jumping off date of the immense growth in Central Florida so I don't blame you for being mad at all these new people moving here. However if you moved here and purchased a new home since 1970 look in the mirror. You helped create the problem.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Pisces

Family, friends and in-laws are all hard to please. It is better to please yourself for once, dear Pisces, than to bang your head against a wall. You need to relax and get in touch with your own feelings. Do not hesitate to speak up for someone you care about. Someone may try to curtail your freedom. Set them straight and do not give in.
