Lewisburg? The drug infested corrupted small town of Tennessee. The worst crack cocaine district in probably the southern united states. Everyone has it out for everyone if your not addicted to some type of drug. Its getting really bad in this city. If you plan on moving to Lewisburg. I do not recommend it. Stay far away from that town much as possible.

I live in Lewisburg and I am not addicted to drugs, nor do I have it out for anyone or vice versa. Lewisburg is a good place to live. There are drugs everywhere. Did you have a bad drug deal go down in Lewisburg or something for you to hate it so bad?

I like living in Lewisburg, there are alot of good people here. Unfortunately we are losing an excellent doctor, Dr. Curtis Buchheit. He is one of the best doctors this town has ever had. One of the worst things to happen here is the Marshall county school system superintendant. Nobody has the balls to have him investigated. Anybody know why no one does anything about him?

guess what i now live on the other side of the great mississippi river. i use to live south of lewisburg. and i hate to say this there ain't any place in the USA thats really fit for living in any more. I'm glad I got my honorable discharge from the military and i will never join it again. I got tired of protecting a country in the name of GOD, that has become to corrupt for us to honestly believe we are still one nation under GOD. Trust me however if we ever clean up or country i'll be one of the first to put my uniform back on and kick all these drug people out

I'm a former Chicagoin There were lot's of drugs & gang's there. When my family & I decided to move to tennessee we moved to Columbia first, Man what a mistake my son a high schooler would tell us how kids would be doing drugs in the school's parking lot's. We moved east of lewisburg & I'll tell you it was the best move we ever made, We now live in the country & are somewhat happy with our neighbors, But hten you have to watch for the THIEVES who look to rob your house or shed's.Parents should keep a better eye on their kids.Com e on it's not that hard.PRY once in a while.

Like any community, Lewisburg has it's share of problems. And chances are, no one--resident or community leader would deny it. Is there a town out there that doesn't have a drug problem? A crime problem? If so, we'll all move to the "Mayberry RFD Utopia". Lewisburg is indeed a great place to live and continues to make constant progress in every facet. Whether it's curbing the drug problem, improving the schools, improving our tourist trade or adding new businesses or industry. Lewisburg is a friendly, family oriented place to reside. I'm all about alliance to family, friends and yes, my community.
By the way, you're right Kenny, Lewisburg Medical Clinic is the BEST one. All of my family utilizes their services, even those who don't reside in the county!!

There are good people at Lewisburg Medical clinic, and nice people here in Lewisburg, but I still stand behind Dr. Buchheit 100%. He saved my life when another dr. in town acted like I was a hypochondriac. I would trust my life and the life of my children with him ANYTIME. I love Lewisburg, but I do get sick of some of the good ol boy politcal tactics and running someone out of town when you decide you need some money and want to sue. Our newspaper also had decided to write a biased article on Dr. Buchheit based more on opinion than fact. I dont think I have much respect for the new editor. Its unfortunately who you know and who you are related to that gets things done here. But what I dont understand is how Pierce is still running our school system. He must really have some goods on some people here in town. What are your opinions on this?

Any one that thinks Lewisburg is a nice town needs to open their eyes. Any one know the where abouts of the infamous Steve Bowden? Try looking in chatanooga jail. Why is it that none thing has made the papers? Talk about owning a town!! Peirce has done a lot of good for our schools and has stood up to the good ole boys.

The whole state should have warning tape around it! Education is so far down on the list of priorities you can't find it and a gov. for the people isn't on the list at all. However if you proclaim from the pulpit to be a christian, heck you can do anything you want as long as you are a republican and invoke the name of God as your reason. ie....If I steal from them I can give more to the church which makes it ok with god!!!!

John David Pierce IS one of the most corrupt individuals to gain power in Marshall County. I have a little insight into the school system, my wife teaches there and I formerly was employed in a capacity in one of the schools as well. I was there when he was appointed and saw the changes firsthand....it was all about who you were and if you had ever disagreed with him in any manner you paid for it dearly.

Bucheit was a joke....unless you needed some good pain prescriptions and didnt have time for something like an actual doctors exam, then he was your man.

Bowden's in jail? Excellent..... hadn't heard that one though.

I have lived in Lewisburg, Tn for over 20 years now, and I can tell you it is one of the most closed minded, corrupt, "Good Ol Boys" towns I have ever experienced...the money families get away with almost everything, and as for the court system HA! HA!...it is a joke. not to mention most of the "high brows" would not last a day in the realm of real social acceptance like NY, or LA. Many of these people have never traveled any further than Nashville, but act as though they have...sort of feel sorry for them.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Virgo

Mercury is turning retrograde at just the right time, because it's telling you to consider the validity of your long-term aims and aspirations. If they stand about as much chance of seeing the light of day as you do of winning the Lottery, then you need to streamline them or even abandon them and start again. So think about what you want from life and how you're going to get it. Children and romance may be quite erratic during this phase.
