They were guilty. The man did not try to run over any of the officers. He was slowly trying to maneuver his truck to escape. There are witnesses. The officers probably made up a story that the man tried to hit them and they stuck to that story even though it was a lie.

Too bad that there is a code of blue, even with the GBI. Better if the FBI investigated. They are guilty of murder and it will catch up with them. That was such an awful crime that it will catch up with them.

The only person who thought they were guilty was Jewel Scott. No wait, she didn't even think so. She just thought that she could get some more racist stuff started. I guess that didn't work out eithier.

I don't know about being guilty of Murder. I watched the tape of the incident several times. It was obvious that the young man intentionally moved the vehicle forward toward the officer that fired the Fatal shot. Having been a former police officer myself and a Combat Veteran. When confronted with a situation that puts your life in immediate danger, you react based on your training. In this case the officer instinctively fired because he felt that the individual was going to run him down with the vehicle. Right or wrong the officer was well within the law that allows deadly force in this instance, and the Grand Jury agreed.

It is a terrible thing when parents lose their children. It is also a terrible thing when parents don't take the time to teach their children right from wrong. The parents of this deadly event want to place all the blame on the Police, but do not want to accept their responsibility for their failure as parents. That's the real shame here.

Where did you watch the tape several times. I want to know so that I can watch it too. I saw a bit on the ajc.com and that showed the man trying to get away...not trying to run over the police.

They murdered him and so far have gotten away with it.

This incident was investigated by the internal police department and the GBI. Both are part of the Code of Blue where they protect their own. The FBI needs to investigate the murder of this man...taking of his civil liberty of life.

One report said that the police stated the man "revved" his truck. He did not. If he had wanted to run over them and kill them, he would have. Justice has not been served...not yet.

How could it be "racist stuff" when one of the police officers was black?" You are showing your ignorance.

The grand jury said they were innocent.

You think that Jewel prosecuted those officers because she was looking for the truth? Or to get elected? Why choose now to do her job?

jewel scott is an idiot. someone put this woman away please! she purposely put these officers lives on hold so that she could get her name out there for re-election! did she even care about this case? is she really that concerned with the truth? NO it's all a ploy for re-election.
"don"- youre an idiot and your stupidity will "catch up with you" too. these officers committed no crime. that punk that was shot brought this on himself. he had every chance to stop and he made a conscience decision to pin that officer between the vehicles. what would you do if you were pinned between two cars and the driver was still comin' at you? you'd fight back. this case has now been investigated three times and every single tme it gets clearance. justice has been served. case closed.

We need more of these shootings to cull the over-population of these knuckle-dragging vermin.
