A Veterans’ Town Hall meeting will be held from 1 to 3 pm on November 16th at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista. The Arkansas Director of Veterans Affairs, Dave Fletcher and leaders from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs along with the National Commander of The American Legion, Clarence Hill, the State Commander, Gene McVay, and the First District Commander, Norvil Lantz will be present for the first ever meeting of its kind in Arkansas. Veteran Service Officers will also be present to assist veterans with individual problems. Area veterans are urged to attend and present their questions and concerns to a distinguished panel of state and national officials.

Arkansas Department Commander Gene McVay is asking that questions and concerns be written concisely so that the panel can respond to as many as possible during the two hour meeting. Riordan Hall can be reached from U.S. Highway 71 in southern Bella Vista, turn west on Riordan Road at the traffic light by the Dairy Queen and make a right on Kingsdale Lane, Riordan Hall will be the large building on the left.
